Dude hazbin hotel has been my hyperfixation for weeks now and I want to info dump about it but my friends haven’t been free to hangout or talk and I can’t talk about it to my family cus they don’t know I watch it so I’ve just been watching more and more hazbin hotel TikTok compilations and re watching the show until my friends can hangout again 😭😭😭
I have the theory that there is not a single bad looking Hazbin/Helluva cosplayer. Every single cosplay I've seen so far SLAAAAYS. Everyone's so unimaginably talented. It blows my mind just how much work must have gone into all the costumes and makeup. Seriously, ya'll are 10/10s. How is it possible that there wasn't one mediocre cosplay I've seen by now?
Who I would cast to be in the Hazbin Hotel live action (doing this cause im bored) Alastor: 1:34 (jackwise_clown) Lucifer: 0:10, 17:02 (mellowmess) Charlie: 1:09 (gracessocks) Lute: 2:11 (wynter_phoenix) Velvette: 4:53 (judhus) Emily: 6:25 (adoringalastor) Rosie: 17:17 (qweendenilecosplays) Husk: 11:02 (tropicfox) Niffty: 11:55 (xfam_girlx) Angel Dust: 15:43 (idk what the angel dust cosplayer acc name is) Sir Pentious: 7:06 (arcee.cos) Vaggie: 18:32 (ezxno) Adam: 5:16 (sakuraflor/idk if that's the person who plays lute's acc or adam's though-) Vox: 13:08 (drunkcrier)
I thought it was fine as long as someone doesn't try to change their skin tone/eye shape/etc to look like a different race if the character isn't the same ethnicity as them? Like most anime characters are Asian but plenty of people cosplay them who aren't and it's ok. Basically unless you're wearing things specific to an irl culture that aren't open for anyone (like war bonnets, cornrows, cultural outfits that are based on irl ethnic groups, etc) that it's fine to cosplay characters of a different race? If someone who doesn't know the character might think you're trying to dress up as a different culture or ethnicity (like how Pocahontas and princess Jasmine in their movies wear a "sexy" version of someone's concept of a cultural outfit) then it's a no-go. But if a character's outfit/style doesn't have to do with their ethnicity then it's ok as long as you don't change your skin tone/eye shape/etc to look like you are another race.
Impressive cosplays, a shame that its wasted on mimic and lipsynching. When you have that impressive costumes, use it to make real videos, if you can make such costumes you are talented enough to make talented videos, lip synching on tiktok are for people who can barely spell ''talent'', and if you wanna sing the songs, then sing, if you can't sing, start praciticing.
