Stifling creativity is a massive gut punch to human beings in general, because we are creative beings. We love to explore where our imagination takes us and that should never be discouraged. I'd also like to state the obvious, because it seems I must: fanon does NOT equal canon. We are NOT trying to "replace" canon lore, NOR are we saying "this is how it should be". We know very well that canon stays just that. We are merely doing what I stated in the previous paragraph: allowing our creativity to flow. We know Al is Ace and we love him for it.
