The Alastor/Vox duet is so good also their rivalry will be fun to watch. Sir Pentious is like the doofenshmirtz of this show ( thinks he's so evil but he's actually a real softy )

Fun fact:The reason alastor looks like a deer and has an x on his head is because he was shot in the head by a hunter thinking alastor was a deer. Edit: viv stated that Alastor is not a wendigo but said he has the theme of one
@@anitaremenarova6662except its not!!! Windigos actually have nothing to do with deer at all and it only a misconception of the actual original creature. Viv has said many times he's just a cannibal who is a dear because he was hunted down in his life, so he's a deer after death. Just like angel is a spider because he is as born into a web he couldn't escape because he was in a mafia family from birth. Husk is a cat, because he's both a scardy cat, and overly curious. It feeds his gambling and the state of getting in over his head with knowing other people's problems from putting his nose in things he shouldn't.

Love the reaction, for more lore and worldbuilding I recommend Helluva Boss. "Vox" is simply "voice" in latin (which is ironic considering he is the TV demon and not the radio one), it also means "Vox Machina" is "Voice Machine/engine".

Just started to watching your Journey through the Vivziepopverse. It's really nice ^^ But all this skipping of so much important Parts of the Video is really downgrading it.
When are you nervous at the angel made up was up there. Had to rewind and realize what he said and I realize that might be heaven up in the sky and not an angel moon and plus I’m on iPad right now so that’s why third sentences are so long, but I think that’s heaven and you can just see a little bit of heaven, but the rest is just like way up there, and it’s not actually an angel moon but that’s just what I think and anyone else can think what they wanna think
@@michaelbrowne3088not necessarily. It may mean he learned English from two different people at the same time. I have a friend who slips into a British accent when he’s tired but none of his accents are fake.
I saw Christian Borle (Vox) on Broadway for Something Rotten. He is such a fun actor, and Vox fits him well. Alex Brightman has one of the best raspy voices out there as well. The cast for this is just incredible.
I've seen Borle in a variety of roles, and I like that Vox sort of combines droll, wacky, and smarmy, all three of which he does quite well (though I'm still fond of his Emmett in Legally Blonde, which is the polar opposite)
Alastor turning more demonic was sooo fucking terrifying when I first saw it cause we got to see the side of Alastor going back to his old ways from when he first got to hell.
"He's kinda got this Windego thing going" That's precisely what his design alludes to, he was a cannibal who got killed by hunter to mistook him for a deer.
Does that mean he might have done something to her? If so I feel like Charlie would finally snap and become evil or go mad, that would honestly be a great twist.

It's been pointed out in the pillot that as soon as Charlie left a message to Lilith, Alastor appeared. Don't know if that has any significance, but it's worth noting.
The voices I was most shocked to hear so far were velvet and Val. I did not predict velvet would have a British accent, but I already like it and her. Val was a definite shock. In fan dubs up to this point he was imagined to have a deep sort of nasally tone, that’s just so creepy. His voice seemed higher than I imagined but I see it’s mostly when he’s angry, he can have an intimidating tone when he wants to and an accent, don’t know why I’m surprised he’d have an accent I guess it makes sense. But yeah episode 4 proves that Val really is just as much of a villain as we all knew he could be and all are prepared to hate.
Val's voice makes sense I think, he's really only dangerous when he has power and status over you, if you're on equal standing he's just kinda pathetic
I love how everyone thought they were gonna pull a "oh Angel's gonna be accused of attacking Pentious for no reason" trope. I did too, but I'm so glad they didn't.
I think it's funny that the TV characters name is Vox when Vox means "Voice" (like Vox Machina is "Voice Machine" in Latin) but Alastor is the radio demon which is only voice/sound. Video Box "Vox" does make a lot of sense though! I also think it's interesting that Amazon took on Vox Machina with characters Vex and Vax and now Hazbin with Vox, Val (Valentino) and Velvette.
Something I'm very curious about, is the fact that Alastor has apparently only recently returned after being "off the map" for 7 years. Coincidentally the same number of years that Charlie's mom has also been missing. Seems like there's probably some kind of connection there, with both Alastor and Lilith disappearing around the same time for unknown reasons.
Maybe he ate Lilith? A few mins ago it dawned on me that Lilith might be the source of alister's power, I was thinking they worked together and Allister might have cut a deal with her, but now that I think about it more, good chance he killed her somehow & took her power for himself.
@@hurricanemarigolds2818 The problem with that theory is that he was powerful before he disappeared for 7 years, and she only hasn't heard from her mom in 7 years. Lillith being killed by Allister doesn't explain the amount of power he had before they both left.
What gets me is how this show, as well as Helluva Boss, manages to have these super wholesome moments in the middle of all the insanity going on. I also didn't realise how much of a musical it would be. I know Helluva Boss has regular music numbers, but didn't expect them to be this frequent. Pleasantly surprised about it ^^
Someone said Valentino speaks in a Latino accent which is not entirely true. Valentino is Italian, like Angel Dust. But he does fall into the Italian Accent when he's more calm and in control and slips into the American accent when he's upset/flustered. It's a great way of using audio to show us when Val's mask drops.
@@phantomvulpe791 the comment that he's Hispanic came from Sam Miller. Not Viv or Faustisse. Until Viv or Faustisse say otherwise, the name Valentino is Italian and so is he.
Interesting that Alistor and Lillith have both been gone seven years. Maybe they were working on something together? I know nothing about the lore so curious to see if there's a connection.
This is ma fav episode this far. I love Alastor and Vox. They are the most interesting characters to me. But everything else is awesome as well. I love music in this show so freaking much.❤
If you like the character of Alastor and the music you should check out the band The Scarring Party! The singer sounds just like Alastor and they have a dark/hellish vibe very similar to this show
man i just love the V trio it's so fun watching them especially Vox i like his character both behavior wise but also the reference of the "TV power" of manipulating people like listen to how he said the "trust us" part and *legit now as we speak even we the viewers are looking at a screen*
I do hope Omn1 finds out about Helluva Boss as well. It takes place in the same universe in Hell but takes place in the other 8 of the 9 rings and focuses more on hell-born demons and the rest of hells class system and their problems. While Hazbin Hotel focuses on Charlie and the Pride Ring where all sinner based demons live and have turf wars and Overlords. And Overlords aren't even as powerful as the high class hell-born demons.

I find it ironic how his name is Vox because Vox means "a voice or sound", and his rival is tied into being just a voice (You know, Alastor and the whole radio thing, and cameras hardly being able to show him without glitching). Honestly never would have thought about it like that if I hadn't been watching the VTuber Vox Akuma once before

Hey! I'm really glad your intearsted in this show. Its so amazing!! Just wanted to share something, not sure if you caught it but Val said "You still hurt he almost beat you that time." The almost implys Alastor didn't win. That maybe tied to Alastor being missing for 7 years. Vox also mentioned, the problem was he was living with Lucifer's daughter.
Vox Machina wasn't the original name of that party of characters. Up until the cast of CR agreed to live stream their DnD game, they called themselves the S.H.I.T.s, which stood for Super High Intensity Team. Vox Machina means 'voice machine/machination' which is just a reference to the players all being voice actors.

You know, if you think about it, alastor is right, vox is nothing wihtout the other vees. Television is kinda dead or at least not as relevant. Meanwhile, the internet(velvette) and porn(val) are thriving. I hope at some point we're gonna see a coup and Velvette will take over as queen of the Vees. Ideally, with val and vox dead 😂😂😂
I watched this video till 7:35 And since I'm expecting Angel dust's boss and that TV guy to show up and try to erase everyone who's in that hotel out of the existence, I wanna see him get a panic attack I don't think it's gonna happen😂
