Valentino is a chaotic and impulsive thug and while Vox tries to be more calculating and careful he still rushed to try and upstage Alastor only to get horribly humiliated for it. Velvette was acting cocky and reckless in antagonizing the other Overlords, but there was a method to her madness and she was observant enough to pick up on Carmilla's behavior and then taunt her into angrily responding and cornering herself with no way to answer other than ending the whole meeting as a way out.

@@williamharmon4039I have a theory... Ever heard of the book turned TV series, American Gods? Among the "New Gods" characters was a figure called Media, who was (essentially) the embodiment of televised media. She felt "worshiped" whenever people sat down and turned on their televisions. But in a later season, she got an upgrade and became "New Media;" which made her the God/Goddess of online social media. I suspect that Velvette may hold control over social networking in Hell and as we know, social networking and the internet have become stronger than TV. As such, she could be more than just "the backbone of the V's" and more like the brains behind them

Yeah. That's the problem with most streaming services. They don't consider the magnitude of the stories they green light. The Dragon Prince suffers the same problem. Both of these stories need more than merely 10 episodes. Also, it should give breathing room for the villains like the Vees to see the kind of damage they can do.

​​@jukelukey2nd924 I'm not sure I would say she looks like a child. Comparing her to Vox, who is officially seven feet tall, and how she is at his shoulder height she is probably in the realm of six feet tall and she overall looks like a young adult to me.

Honestly, I saw Velvette as being the smartest of the trio so far. Valentino is a chaotic and impulsive thug and Vox already proved himself just as quick to run into getting humiliated when he gets angry over Alastor's existence. Velvette here actually proved herself to be deceptively observant and aware, with her disrespect and taunting likely being a deliberate move to provoke a response after she caught Carmilla's reaction to the severed head. And Carmilla ultimately did respond to her provocation and wound up cornered with no choice but to end the meeting early to get out of it, so currently Velvette is the member of the Vees who has been the most effective at executing a plan to achieve some sort of goal since she made an impression on the rest of the Overlords on the matter of the exorcists not being immortal and throwing doubt on Carmilla enough to get her to back off.

@@williamharmon4039 Her personal goal in the meeting was to one up Carmila and judging by the fact that she entered with the angel head the V's goal for that meeting was to get every major overlord in hell on board with attacking Heaven. Problem is that for someone that goal was to convince the rest to war (it's not like the V's suspected Carmine before the meeting to set her up in confessing and getting out of her how she killed the angel) she acted unwise immature and incredibly childish, everyone in that room respected Zestial and she tries to trigger him first in her game and in the end she didn't really obtain anything due to her own arrogance. Even if Carmilla indirectly told her that she indeed killed the exorcist what is she gonna do? Blackmail her? That's pissing off your weapons dealer and a powerful overlord like Zestial under one package

@darkwhispersstories47 The Overlords were going to dismiss her out of hand from the start and she managed to sow some measure of uncertainty and discord among the general members of the meeting and put them all off-guard enough that she was able to walk off scot-free. I understand your points and perspective and it's a fair take to have, but from the way the scene is framed and presented and bits of context I would honestly believe that Velvette's stunt at the meeting was a success on her part and smarter than anything Vox or Valentino have done so far.

She tried to trigger Carmilla. Successfully. And she did get something out of that meeting: The knowledge that it was her (and thus, in fact a sinner) that killed the angel. I agree that Velvette is likely impulsive and chaotic. She may not have suspected Carmilla initially, but she was able to read the room (or mainly Carmila's reactions) and capitalize on it in a snap decision. Also, if you wanted to find out who killed an angel, starting with the most powerful entities is a smart move.
