I love that Alastor doesn’t know those terms because they didn’t exist when he was alive (the terms, not the people they fit. Aro ace folks have obviously existed but cultures’ terms change and evolve over time). That’s actually really smart historical writing for the characters

I was thinking about this a lot too - Adam as the first human never saw all of the new ways people can sin. It's interesting to think - he could honestly believe everyone in Heaven was meant to be there, and everyone in Hell is wrong. And he doesn't see any errors in his behaviour, since there were never other humans around that he had as good/bad examples

Definitely. Hearing the “ace in the hole” joke was an exciting moment. I actually went back to ensure I heard it correctly. I completely expected it to remain a thing only people who knew the orientations of the characters beforehand to speak about. Seeing it onscreen made me so happy. With some ace, aro and/or aroace people left with a sense that something is wrong (myself included), Amir taking the time to understand what the titles mean, even at a general definition, is heartwarming. And the added confirmation that Alastor isn’t only ace, but aroace makes it even better. Now people who only know asexual can find out what aromantic is (or vice versa)🩵 Big preesh to Viv for not holding back on making all the openly queer characters… even if some might not know what it means 😂

For new characters, I would love to see Alastor’s mother in some flashbacks. I’ve seen fanfics with a lot of mentions of her and I’d love to see Alastor’s human past way far back. How he was a devoted mama’s boy and still remembers her in hell through recipes and childhood sayings she told Alastor. Like his one of his catchphrases “ you’re never fully dressed without a smile”.

I will say with the angel dust and Valentino episode that one hit so hard and the way that Blake can express that so good in a show felt so so real like it felt as if you were in it. I can imagine how hard that ep was to record but in the end I love how it got represented and the emotion in that was extreme and that’s what I love the most.

Its good to see Viv made it here with her career. When alot of others have failed, she succeeded. Honestly I love the new cast they grew on me overtime they did such amazing jobs but I also wish there would be some cameo roles for the pilot voice actors in the later seasons just to commemorate because their song "Thank You And Goodnight" had me in tears.
