So great to find this! I loved Breaking Glass! When I was a late teen it aired on HBO and we all watched it repeatedly. My girlfriend at the time had lived in the UK and told me about Hazel O'Connor. Yesterday i recommended it to one of my brighter, artistic music students. Only 21 and she now loves the film as much as I do. Cheers.
I still have my copy of Breaking Glass taped off the telly :) and I remember my tape player chewing my music cassette tape and I spent ages trying to wind it back up flat, with a pen of course xx
I watched Breaking Glass with my dad when I was really young. He recorded it on our old VHS. We played it to death for years until the video chewed the tape up. Talk about gutted. Took this music all the way to being a grown up. It doesn't get old, you can't say that about most music.

I just watched my Breaking Glass blu-ray (American cut), first time I've seen it since the early '80s. Forgot how impressive a film it is, very visually striking. This song is used for the closing sequence and it is FASCINATING, one of the most Futurist performances ever! Looks better than anything from Tron or a Numan concert..... Amazing design masterpiece. Look for it please, you won't be disappointed. ☮️
