Welcome to the 2021 golf season! In this video I played Hazelmere alongside the West Coast Golf Group team: Troy Peverly (VP), Frank Fourchalk (General Manager), and Tracey Peverly (Director of Golf Ops at Hazelmere). Although it was a colder day, I was thorough impressed by the course layout and conditions as a whole. It gave me a good idea of what to expect when playing "winter golf" in the Lower Mainland and the grounds crew here does an amazing job of keeping the course conditions in good shape year-round.
I'm looking forward to getting out here again once the trees are blooming and the sun is shining!

Great vid! 10/11th holes are a couple scary 4's back-to-back, haven't played there yet, but i'll be watching out for them! Love the new hole info as well.

Yeah those are two really tough par 4s back to back! They have an app so I was able to pull the hole map images to overlay on the drone shots. Probably won’t be every video, unfortunately.

good ol hazelmere...played a lot of golf here when i was 15-19 years old as i lived just up the hill...remember lugging my bag/clubs down there on my 10 speed before i had my driver's licence...was fine going but coming home up the hill, ugh...Was one of the "better" courses in the area back in the 80s/90s...Will have to go back for a round for nostalgic purposes...

I have a mix. Irons are titliest T100. Taylor made GAPR 3 iron. Taylor made M2 driver. Ping putter. Vokey wedges

I hate, hate, hate hole 8, the shoot really messes with me esp with my fade, 18 sucks too

@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel Maybe Furry Creek? Hard to compare-- sometimes you hit great shots and you're not rewarded. There's a couple of holes where you can pipe one down the middle and be punished with a severe side/downhill/uphill approach because of the undulation in the fairway.

@@tony6107 good question. I’d have to say Predator Ridge. 2 great tracks and some of the best golf in BC. Tower Ranch is really nice as well, but quite difficult. Then you can’t go wrong with Okanagan, Harvest, and Gallagher’s! I’m a member at Kelowna Golf and CC but it’s private so members only with Covid. I really like it there as well. Planning a trip?
