Dominion Over Nature and Jinn
Allah granted Suleman AS control over the wind, animals, and the jinn (supernatural beings). He could communicate with animals and command the jinn to perform various tasks, including building and diving for pearls. His ability to understand and communicate with creatures is beautifully illustrated in the Quranic story of the ant, where Suleman hears an ant warning its colony to avoid being crushed by his army.

When he died, his body remained standing, and the jinn continued their work, unaware of his death. It was only when a termite gnawed through his staff, causing his body to fall, that the jinn realized he had died. This event demonstrated that the jinn did not possess knowledge of the unseen.
