He quit. If not ready, you must raise your hand before the gun. No false start, so he will be listed as DNF...did not finish

He probably started so he wasn’t disqualified for the rest of the meet (at conference meets, sometimes if you don’t start a race then you’re disqualified from the rest of the meet)

It's ironic that someone in this comment section thinks that Alabama State University is receiving too much "attention" while PWI's reap the benefit to gain "attention"and "revenue" for exploiting African-American athletes.
