Y'all personalities really compliment each other well, I was smiling the entire time watching this video because y'all so funny together!

My top two colleges are pwi and when I visited both it was truly a culture shock so I’m low key doubting not going/applying to a hbcu or more diverse university’s😭🤦🏽‍♀️ but now I know I most definitely need to get involved into the black organizations. Which is also a step out of my comfort zone bc im very introverted and didn’t participate in a lot of clubs or what not in high school lol but this video is very helpful thank you ❤️

I went to UNC-Greensboro for undergrad and enjoyed every moment of it. I met and made friends from around the world, received a fantastic education, and also had amazing career opportunities after graduating.

Im so scared of college and my future i dont even know what i what to do..like all my life ive been a whole ass homebody and introvert and i only have a couple more months to make my decision of where im going...

AGGIE PRIDE!! I'm an A&T alum (NCAT 18) and also studied animal science! I'm currently in vet school and love this video girl it did a great job of showing perspective and I think this could help a lot of high school students decide on what kind of school is right for them

I attend a PWI now and graduate this year. I've been thinking of going to a HBCU for my bachelor's degree. Besides the history for a hbcu, it would be so dope to be around people who look like me and get me.

I finessed in school on research papers. I even failed every exam in one of mine, but I still passed because my professor saw I was trying hard.

It’s a hard decision for me because my top 3 choices that I’ve been accepted to are NCSU, Howard, and NYU. NCSU is the cheapest but I kinda wanna be around more black ppl.

Y’all I dont even know what to do honestly... It’s my first year at UNCG and I just don’t feel at home. Ive had a terrible experience all around. After going to the first basketball game I realized this isn’t what I wanted as my undergrad experience. Im gonna stick out 1 more semester and try to get more involved but I feel like an HBCU would fit me more?

I just listened to a young lady about why she is leaving NC A&T. A&T is not short of students. More than 13,000 for this year's Freshman class with great GPA scores. It sounds like she did not do her homework before going. It is commonly known there are out of State fees if you live in a State outside of your hometown. Parents and students must plan what they can afford in advance and blaming the school about costs relate to poor planning. I attended A&T from Virginia and from a single parent household. We made it and I was able to secure scholarships also. I am active with our Alumni Association and we support students with scholarships and additional money. To this young lady, do your planning up front because you know what you can afford. It is not on anyone else. I found people to be helpful and supportive! Do not make the same mistakes. You need to be where it works for you. The reason for going is education and it must work for you. I also knew the distance from home so I could plan my visits. A&T was great for me and I never had to look for a job! I wish you well!

Just subscribed to you. So glad I did. Awesome video. My youngest daughter attends ECU as an education major. Much of what you have said is similar to her own story. She takes 18 credit hours, works 25 hours weekly at the campus ticket box office, is heavily involved in the Residence Hall Association, and hopes to pledge. She has had so many opportunities there, and I am pleased she chose ECU. I don't know how she does it, but she balances it all. As you stated, college is what you make it. I hope this video reaches many many students both present and prospective..loved it! Question: Do any of you work, and/or have future aspirations for pledging?

I started out at an HBCU. The true difference reveals itself when you graduate and start looking a job. The UNC & NC State grads will have far better opportunities.

I feel like you should have added an ecu friend because it’s a different culture in itself. You guys seemed like you don’t like non hbcus. Your prospective was very narrow. Ecu culture is way different so I would suggest adding them or even adding mountain schools like app western as well
