I think there should be a documentary that goes deeper into bitcoin mining, which is changing the energy and computer industries.

Just finished watching this literally minutes ago. First off you have to understand the sad fact journalism is dead. With few exceptions there really is no such thing any more. What passes as journalism is now little more than narrative. Pre-determined narrative serving a larger unspoken purpose. That being said, the film is pretty good. Relatively less BS than I was expecting. The main shortfall being the negligent (and most likely deliberate) mention of the fact that owning a lot of ₿itcoin confers no control or influence over the network or token. It really does not matter to ₿itcoin whether Satoshi exists or not, who he is, or any of that. It matters only to the real person, or persons, whoever that may be. They do make a pretty decent case for it being the kid, at least to someone like me who knows a lot for a normal person- but not a lot of insider info like the cypher punks. I was around and watching from the beginning. HODLed through the block size wars. Watched all these ship coins launch. HBO gives a distorted sense of timing but overall gets these subjects right. The best aspect to me was the time spent with Samson Mow about nation state adoption. Also liked that after talking about Craig Wright they let you know he was sued and is most certainly NOT Satoshi. Also agree yes, Adam Back featured, nice job. My two bits, letting the audience see the way Peter and Adam react to all these Satoshi questions, the look on their faces and the trolling and tactics they use, may be one of the best features of this movie. They troll, mislead, joke, and yet through it all you can see in their eyes a sense of serious intensity. Either one or both of them may well know who Satoshi is, it may even be one of them, but at the same time you know you will never drag this out of them. I should probably say I put this on expecting pretty much total BS, thinking I would probably watch at most the first few minutes. But it was a good watch, engaging, entertaining and even informative. If a lot of normies watch it they won't be led too far astray. It would be nice to know, if only so that Satoshi can be justly awarded the first man to win the Nobel Prize in Economics, Peace, and Computing all at once. In the end though it is probably better they be awarded to Satoshi Nakamoto in absentia. Respect.

Most attempts @ a perfect bias free documentary fall short on many levels but they typically have some redeeming value in that infomation not known by the general population is revealed. Your blanket statement that it is garbage displays your own bias and reveals your ignorance.

Glad you are out there speaking about Bitcoin. So few Bitcoin supporters have a high level of understanding of debt, and the dollar’s role in the global financial system and macroeconomics. I usually hear outdated textbook views. So it’s refreshing.

I can appreciate the decision not to look too heavily into the question of "who is Satoshi". But I think if we can credibly prove Peter Todd is not Satoshi, we really should do so. Bitcoin is far better without a face behind it.

One of the worst parts is when the narrator tries to pretend that nobody could understand how bitcoin fees work in less than 3 days without prior knowledge. Even he knows that's BS.

The filmmaker seems to like Bitcoin but be disinclined to learn how it really works. If he spent time on the ‘block size wars’ he could have presented the arguments for both sides.

HBO put a huge target on Peter Todd back. Many people will think he is sitting on billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin and some of those people will not be good people. Obviously he is not Satoshi; I am. 😂

There is no Satoshi. It is a nom de guerre that one or maybe even multiple Devs. started using. In that case its possible there could be more than one Satoshi.If this guys e mail was used to send as Satoshi. Its pretty clear he is one of the lead Devs.
