As a white dude from Canada who had a few Filipino friends growing up I just have to say that I love Filipinos. Y’all have a sense of positivity and national pride that I haven’t seen anywhere else and it’s infectious. I think part of why EZ is blowing up is because the hip hop world is getting to see how great of an outlook on the world that Filipinos have. Much love to all my Filipinos. ❤️🙌🏻
I do not understand the language at all, I speak English and Spanish I’m white American my wife is Mexican but this is one of my favorite songs of all time I can feel the passion in it and it’s intoxicating keep up the work brother blessings from Palm Springs CA PANALOOOOOOO
I am late to the party, this man is amazing! You have been blessed by God with amazing talent! Shout out to your mother for raising a SMART INDEPENDENT MAN! Thank you for sharing you talent with the world!
Hey EZ, a silent follower here from Australia. I am a proud Pinoy who also speak multiple languages. I am HBom’s generation who enjoyed the rap scene during the 90’s. I’ve been in Australia for 13 years now and yes still gets discrimination around here but because of my professional qualifications they tend to do their act behind my back, and of course them knowing that I am a practitioner of the Filipino Combative Art of Eskrima/Kali/Arnis, their careful. What brought me to comment is the fact that you’re just enjoying your art making versatile music, you have accidentally stated a known fact handed down from one generation to the next through ‘balak’ or ‘himamat’ (a bisaya art of poetic storytelling). It may not be recorded in the history of the Philippines, but we the ‘lumad’ (locals of Zubu (Cebu)) believed the storytelling of our grandfathers and the grandfathers before him that the mysterious disappearance of Datu Kalipulako (LapuLapu) was caused by a betrayal from the neighbouring island of Mactan, the ZUBU, which is now Cebu. Rajah Humabon a friend and half brother of LapuLapu ordered the assassination of LapuLapu in order to give way to the interest of the Spanish King in our country, the Philippines. Named after King Philip of Spain. The story of our grandfathers put different actors (friends and relatives of LapuLapu), their involvement and reasons why they decided to assassinate our first hero, in exchange of wealth promised by the Spanish Crown. I have been enjoying listening to your music while I write long project proposals and argumentative statement to different cases and reports at late nights. Your music keeps me going til the morning. Keep up the brilliant work! Keep safe and take care of your family! Salamat for representing our 3 stars and the Sun.
This fact is true. I’ve learned more about this back when I studied in the University of San Carlos in Cebu. According to my stock knowledge, Raja humabon was the reason why Lapulapu’s tribe went down. Raja had an agreement with the Spaniards who later on backfired as well. Discord, rivalry, and ignorance was what brought upon the fall down of our whole stronghold. (I’m not sure how but I think there were poisoning involved around that story.) Btw, I’m not sure about other places in Mindanao but we still have the “balak” tradition going on in our province in Zambonanga del Norte, Northern Mindanao. Most of the whole Zamboanga Peninsula generally speaks “Bisaya” or at least understands it, that’s why we can relate to the Cebuanos. We are aware of them but they’re not aware of us. (I can still remember how much prejudice I’ve experienced when I first came to Cebu, but it’s all good now. 😊) Fact is, only the Muslim minorities and the indigenious people speak other languages like the Tausug, Maranao, and Subanen the rest in the Zambo Peninsula speaks bisaya. (Edit: Sorry I forgot to mention “chavacano” and if there are still languages and dialect in the Zambo Peninsula that I’m not aware of, please forgive my ignorance.

FUN FACTS: Ez Mil is only 22 years old and he's not a rapper... He's an artist! This dude can sing, dance, play musical instruments (piano, acoustic & electric guitars)... and he do it all EXTREMELY WELL! Also, he danced and choreographed FREEZE (u should def check that out). He writes, composes and produces beats for his own songs! He even directs, edits, and vfx his own music videos. You should def check out and subscribe to his yt channel.. Ez Mil is just hugely influenced by Eminem, Kendrick, A$AP and Chris Brown. In addtion, with his rapping skills, no one could ever think that he can sing a high note and scream/growl like that in a death-core/metal genre. This dude does metal! In fact, he's on 8 metal bands/projects online... He also has an alter-ego channel called SLASHMOUTH, featuring his rock n' roll and death-core acts, like growling and guitar riffing! The hype on him isn't just about his rapping skills, but his very well-rounded talent which is EXTREMELY RARE! This dude can literally make songs in all genres, no cap! Listen to his 'ACT 1' album, you'll know what I mean.
Nah... Actually EZ Mil doesn't need to explain about every lines just for everyone to know what is it all about, if you're proud of him and his music, taas kamay🖐️✊ pero para sa mga kritiko at haters... So this video para sa inyo 😎😁
Because the world is asking for it, not necessarily for the critics but he's rocking the world of this filipino mixed dialogue, they want to know it too😉
I love your song I am Cuban so I don't understand a word but I understand the feelings you are getting across very well. I love your song I have listened hundreds of times I love it! You are very talented youngman God bless you and keep you safe. Thank you for sharing your pride. 😊
Thank You for Clearing this issue! I also found out that the article written on wikipedia about LapuLapu's cousin "LAPU" (which is just now deleted on wikipedia) is pretty inaccurate based on some historians I talked to. Pero ang hindi mababago eh, yung suporta namin sa mga pinoy rap artist (or any artist on different genre) tulad ninyo EZ MiL and HBOM na gumagawa ng paraan para iangat ang bandera at pangalan ng mga pinoy sa iba. SALUTE TO YOU GUYS! Continue the Good work ! #PANALO #Pilipinas #SupportAllPinoyArtist
Congratulations 👏👏👏 grabe EZ because of this Panalo song of yours makes me proud that Filipino have world class talent in singing as well. Nakatira ako sa Canada 🇨🇦 for about 20 years now. Always proud being a Filipino 🇵🇭. You're very talented. Ignore those critics ganun talaga you can't please everybody. Sana all positivity lang tayo. All the best 🙏
oh woman, im most proùd he is my nieghbor in urdaneta pangasinan. he is really very clever boy when he was . now gettin' good lookin' and his talent in singing is long ago he been doin' ..

Rappers dont rap this way anymore, hoping this would serve as an eye opener to those talented fellow filipinos to use their skills and talent to promote unity and nationalism #proudtobekayumanggi
it's undeniable that he really is a patriotic man.. I felt like Francis M is reborn. so mga kapwa ko filipino stop the hate and let's just support and appreciate Ez Mil.
For foreigners here: In real life, the rapper, is a Fil-Caucasian born in Olongapo City in 1998. “Panalo” means “Winner” in English (but, in the song's context, it's "Victory"). The traditional music used in the song was Cariñosa. (Cariñosa (Spanish pronunciation: [kaɾiˈɲosa], meaning the loving or affectionate) is a Philippine dance of colonial era origin from the Maria Clara suite of Philippine folk dances, where the fan or handkerchief plays an instrumental role as it places the couple in romance scenario). The languages in the song itself are Tagalog, English, and Ilocano. Ilocano is an Austronesian language spoken in the Philippines. It is the third most-spoken native language in the country. In the song, he was discriminated just because he doesn’t look like Pinoy. “I ain’t Tisoy. I’m Pinoy.” (in English, “I’m not (white) foreigner/American, he’s Pinoy) He wasn’t pissed or angry. He was so PROUD! I really love it! Love from the Philippines. Maraming Salamat! (Thank you)
Ive seen this dude rap, sing, growl and shred his guitar, freakin exceptional, it's once of a lifetime to see a guy who's great on all of those, there are people who specialize on rapping, shredding, screaming, this guy can do these very well and can still improve, the upside is unbelievable
The fact that this dude took the time to sit down and break down his lyrics, be raw, and share his stories... The humility, braaaah. 100% stanning EZ MIL. This dude knows what he's doing.
I been in (SPAIN) but letter "S" is silent (PAIN).
This kid will paved the way for a new breed of Fil Am rappers to stick out in the hip hop world. I’m 50 yrs old and a fan of Mastaplann back in the days. But that Cultura with EZ and H Bom was dope! This Panalo should be an entourage tune for a boxing match too!
Grabe napaka bangis.. Ang galing.. Sobra.. Kulang ang thumbs up sayo... It only shows ur humble personality. Keep it up...im sure marami ka pang naka imbak na kinompose mong songs sa journals mo.. Time to shine... Sisikat ka for sure👏 stay humble ☺️😊
I've watched many reactions on EZ Mil's videos. Many Rappers believed , EZ Mill is the next Big Thing! . Also the interview to Andrew E. Sabi nya(Andrew) may mga inaayos/pinaplantsa na lang at marami pa tayong mapapanood na magagandang proyekto para kay EZ. . Ngayon pa lang.... PANALO na!!!!!!
You're a wordsmith in the highest order. A modern lyric poet with a fresh approach to rap, setting the bar at a new, unheard-of high. An artist in the truest sense of the word.

@@mattsmith2360 Future, but i'm more on the lyricist side of hip-hop and Ez Mil do got influence from Em and Kendrick, with the word play. This kid will go far!!
From the title of the song itself "Panalo" well he did it well. Panalo talaga ang kanta. Wow as in wow in just a week hits 27M. Amazing. Proud to be a Filipino💪👊🔥🥰
I'm 50yo my first time to like and appreciate rap song so much. I've listened to this over 20x (?)🤔😁 I feel the message of the song and Ez Mil gave justice to it (how he sang it) being the composer, right? Stay humble hijo. God bless you.🙏
EZ MIL is exactly what the world needs right now! Real hip hop. Doesn't matter what language because it's from his heart. Just look at his facial expressions. I'm so glad I ran across his work and and I'm already a fan. Keep it up, EZ. You're up next.
Much respect and love from Greece EZ. I could tell how proud you are of your heritage and how much passion you put in what you do. Great things await, don't get lost in the mundane.
Hahaha...damn, I woke up to this 😊Btw, I totally understand his usage of "beheaded"/"pinugutan. I'm a native English speaker & we sometimes tend to use words in a metaphorical, not literal, way. It's more to emphasize an emotion. It takes a slightly deeper thought process to understand his lyrics (similar effort to understand Eminem's & Kendrick Lamar's lyrics.)
@@SerJedOfficial Pretty much! I'm ethnically Filipino, Chinese, Swedish & Hawaiian; I'm close to my Filipino & Polynesian relatives. When asked by people who can't tell what I am, I tell them, "I'm the United Nations" 😊 I'm of the belief & mindset that humans are all one big (sometimes dysfunctional) ohana ("family" in Hawaiian) no matter where we're from. @@JanetVJohnson yup, so many filipino edgelord that thinks they are ahead of the artist's mind. and criticizing it like they know the whole context. smh. crabma mentality.
@@Mativ8 Human nature. I admit I get ahead of myself (& other people) at times, but I learned that there's nothing shameful about backtracking with the willingness to admit when one may have had a slight error in judgement 🤗 That's what adults do. And as adults we're supposed to leave a good example for kids that look up to us. I hear you, man; some people can be slightly frustrating. On the other hand, no one's perfect so all we can do is help each other understand things better 👍

@@michaelgalles2142 guess that’s what you think it is. Can’t blame the person to speak English kasi matagal na syang (Hbom) nakatira sa US. And I don’t see any problem of the two nor EZ Mil having problem with it. And kung yan man ang dahilan ng pag dislike nila, then they are looking for butas (problem) just like what EZ Mil referred to his song. ✌🏼

I've watched the video "Panalo" a hundred times already since 3 days. I couldn't get enough of it. And for sure I'm not the only one experiencing this. Napakahusay mo. ❤️❤️ And you're super cute. 🙈
A monster in rap yet a very simple and humble person. You deserve all this. Im not a fan of rapper before but because of you EZ mil. Im on it. Godbless. Cant wait for your next performance hope you will upload most of the time. Forever Fan here! Nakatatak na yan! Bagsik mo. Proud to be Fil.
First of all, thank you so much! I know you'll never read this but thank you for staying true and for following your mom's advise. For so so so looong i've been waiting for our filipino artists to sample our traditional songs..like no cap, i've been waiting because I know how beautiful our folks songs are and how naturally talented our artists are. Our native songs deserve to be put on a spotlight, to be heard by a bigger audience ..and then BAM you come up with this. The lyrics--myghassh its the first time i almost teared up listening to a Hiphop song. More than the lyrics I felt your soul and passion--that's what made me tear up. And not only did you rap about your racial roots, but also, you didn't forget to pay homage to your hiphop roots. In short, just thank you, and I hope and pray you continue to do what you love and you don't loose that passion. Keep on releasing songs and we your kababayans will support. You're not singing/rapping for yourself alone, we're with you. I'm not fluent with ilocano but Agyamanak!
Despite of all the negativities, there is something that we can cherish! My own wordplay!
This man is right oh, I have no clue what this boy is saying I mean I have a better idea now that he was just talkin about it but what I mean is I have no clue what he was saying when I first heard the song I understood the English parts but I could tell that he was representing his country and I could see the heart and fire in that representation and it gave me goosebumps it made me TuneIn it made me have respect for him and it made me respect the Philippines more. Prior to this dude song I don't know any Filipinos that I have spoke with about there Homeland and don't have much thought towards the Philippines because I just know nothing about it. After this song I almost feel patriotic for the Philippines and a love in some weird way just because of the heart and patriotism of this one man. Keep rapping and keep representing an American's take note don't listen to the media you can be proud of your country
I knew it! You were referring to your city on that one! Thanks for clearing it up. Its really nice to hear whats behind the song. There is always a story behind every song!
Thank you so much for inspiring us! God bless you always and Congrats by the way for million views!!! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

Honestly, I am not into "rap" thingy.... pero out of curiosity, I tried watching your "Panalo" on Wish..thinking why people making a fuss about it.. and then.. sa intro palang, (Cariñosa)I felt something so overwhelming...... Till I didn't notice, I repeatedly watched your performance "Nth "times ehehe just as how many times I watched every single reaction videos out there..you are amazing!! Soo amazing..felt proud..something in you pulls me in, i think it isn't just about the beat..rhymes..or vocals...its the "depth" that I can see in your eyes.. I'm a new fan of yours! I do think you don't mind me stalking your acct and listening to your songs.😀 Philippines represent! ❤😉🇵🇭
