As our first rock crawler, I think we made a good choice. It’s small enough that it can be used safely indoors and still performs well outside. It still has its drawbacks and we will go over the good and the bad in this video.
We take it out on the rocks and then we build a couple courses inside when the weather wasn’t as favorable.

You won't be disappointed. Just get better tires. Little Guys racing tires or scramblers are a good choice for this.

I love my Devastator. I'm running it with Little Guys racing tires. There nice and big. Huge improvement. I also added some weight to it. It's probably my favorite mini crawler. I have the scx24,hobby plus 1/24 ,RGT Adventure,RC4WD Glendale II black rock it's says it's 1/18 but looks more like a 1/24 scale. That is also one of my favorites. It has the best scale crawling out of all of them . Probably cause of how heavy it is. Oh and I got an SG I don't remember the number but it also is a 1/18 scale that is the size of a 1/24 scale. Great video.

Thanks! It’s our only crawler right now but it’s great! Do you use wheel spacers on yours? I think wheel spacers would be helpful too.

@@DerbyCityRC no I haven't tried them on this one. On my scx24 I use brass wheel extenders they are hex extenders. They add a little weight but not much. I think they are 5 mm.

Do those scrambler tires mount to the stock wheels?

@@DerbyCityRC yes just unscrew the screws on the wheel and they should fit and you don't need glue

Awesome review brother and mini brother! I find these for their size to be very good trail scalers indoor or out. You covered everything really well a showed a great example of the fun you can have with these! Great job! Now if I could just find me a baby to crawl over…🤔

I'm new at this world but I got a mechanical back ground. How can I go about upgrading a new bright 1/10 scale big foot truck. I got serval bashers from hossaim legendary hbx and some temu ones lol. This crawler style is new to me don't know where to start and where to get parts I need

Well, New Bright has no upgrade parts that I know of, so projects like that are completely custom lol. I’ve never upgraded a “toy grade” car but it’s something I’d like to do. Those NB Big Foots would be a fun one though so hopefully you can get it going! Wish I could help more on that one!
