Testing how well a small diesel heater works to help heat my RV. Our USA travels in a 40' Monaco motorhome, or whatever else is on my mind today. :)

Good idea to have backup heating source. That little unit will do nicely. I’d probably just keep it portable and use it in whichever room I was in.

Great suggestion! Having a backup heating source is always a good idea, especially during outdoor adventures or power outages. The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series would be a perfect companion for your portable heater, providing ample power for extended periods. Plus, its versatile design and fast charging capabilities make it convenient to use. Check it out!

IT would seem there are a few modifications that need to happen especially the tubing for fuel. I have often wondered why a variety of garden equipment comes with fuel tubing that has to be replaced after ONE season of use? I guess to get the smaller tube it has to be flimsy? Another great review and I personally appreciate the details you were willing to give. It does seem like it could be useful for a large gathering Tent at Quartsite for playing games or just chatting. THANK YOU!!!

Do not blame you a bit. We have a big coach and the same (probably) heater. This is interesting. Sooner or later we might look at this.

I've been using the little Espar unit in my sprinter van since 2013. Used it extensively until 2017 and occasionally since then. Very impressive reliability. I had it serviced once for a new glo plug. It cost about $1000 to buy the unit. I'll be curious how the Hcalory will hold up.

Jerry, this heater will definitely help maintain Miss Lin's and your "Warm-n-fuzees" for sure.. Pun intended. Cheers, Mate.

Would love some 40° temps! We were -30's this week in northern MT and working in the uninsulated garage was taking its toll. Wonder if this thing would be able to get garage temps above freezing.

Just think how well it would heat if the heater hose was... 1) Not extended fully 2) Not outside 3) Insulated
@JCTravelStories
@JCTravelStories 5 месяцев назад
A little better, not a lot better. The biggest gain would be to get the cold air from inside the heated space, not be heating outside air.

Ahhhh yes... the problems we manufacture when we have luxuries . 😆🤠✌️ If only you had a home in the 70° year round climate of Ajijic where no heater is needed. 🤔

It'll be a better video if it weren't inches per tank.... Watching closely in your video. I'm thinking it's quarts per day..... On your next video, could you give us some sort of gallons per day quartz per hour?
@JCTravelStories
@JCTravelStories 7 месяцев назад
It’s Chinese they don't do quarts and gallons. It’s a 5 liter tank and my estimate was 10 to 12 hours per tank. The important point is it would make it through the night at that rate which would be a half liter per hour. 5 liters is 1.3 gallons. Used up in 10 hours that would be .13 gallons per hour. The specs say .1 on low to .35 on high liters per hour. 5 liters divided by .1 on low would last 50 hours. 5 liters divided by .35 on high would last 14 hours. I think my tests show that the manufacture's spec is a little off the real world cold temperature experience.

Anyone living in ajijic mexico doesn’t really need heat, and a back up heater is a waste of time😊

You are correct, but what does my home in Ajijic have to do with my RV in Arizona? One of us missed something.

Products that you advertise are demonstrate on amazon is very low ratings
@JCTravelStories
@JCTravelStories 7 месяцев назад
Usually because they are new products with fewer ratings not lower ratings. I check similar products with more ratings to get a true sense of the quality of a product, but in the final analysis I trust what I touch and feel not what someone else tells me. What you see is what you get … there are no camera tricks in my videos. Your comment conveys the possibility that English is not your first language. I hope you can fully understand my reply. :)

I think your strong opinion might not have anything to do with a diesel heater.
