You know, IndyCar road course races like these make me wonder all the more why Champ Car had mandatory fuel windows in the last few years of that series. Or, am I crazy?
The commentator said that F1 cars race only on street circuits and dont need as much safety. What is wrong with him?? Hockenheimring, Circuit de Spa, Monza, etc. are not street circuits. They actually need more protection because acceleration is faster and the overall speed is faster. F1 has equivalent, if not more, safety compared to Indycar
18:40 What the Heck was the Pole Sitter Thinking, I'm glad Scott Goodyear pointed out " That is not a worse place to stall" or something like that this is why IndyCar decided to not do this again in 2015 they were probably like this is the worst idea they ever came up with in there entire, but this kind of crash never happened to Formula 1 before, I think not since 2006 when Formula One had an Onboard shot with Scott Speed going into the First turn and that's where all chaos happens back in 2006 but for IndyCar nowadays they still had problems in that same turn 1 but until this year it was what I call a fantastic Grand Prix for this year in 2019.
I love IndyCar this year. As a long time F1 fan, this year's specs have completely turned me off. Too unbalanced and the sound of the V6s sounds awful.
+Ichabod Crain IRL started with only ovals when they split from CART in 1996. IRL began driving normal road and street courses in 2008 again. CART has always driven both.
Why are they not racing on oval infields more ? Most of ICS races looks like they go on some car park and set up barriers and circuit. This looks realy exclusive, lot of people here ICS deserve more exclusivity.
