I just want to tell yall that Draining strikes should be 16/20 not 13/20 as i showed in the video that's a mistake on my part.
The hero damage barbarian is arguably the strongest character all around in dd2, he is tanky fast has a lot of cc, and ofc a lot of dmg.
The person that first mad this build was Arti, he is a member of the dd2 community and he is very good with numbers. He has also made a lot of spreadsheets with valuable info. Harambe is a friend of Arti and he is the one that made this build popular.

I have my draining strikes gilded already. How does this negatively effect this Barb. setup/build?

It has to do with the ttt and the amount u heal affects the ttt dmg idk the math behind it

I'm looking at doing this build atm but I'm not sure about focused power because apart from your pet the abilities barely have any downtime. so I'm changing it out for crit chance for now.

Focused power also works on the 4 and 5 ability even tho it does not have a cooldown. Also you can use the shout ability for a additional cooldown

With the guilded pumkinator you have super high crit chance alrdy so i dont even think its worth it defenetly better with focused power. Because without it your loosing all ur dmg in harder modes its kinda a must have. Besides with all the barb cooldowns you can have 4 cooldowns at once and that 120% more dmg

Tenacity is not very necessary u can instead put héro dmg 90% +

90% i am not sure what you mean, if you mean healthy power, but you are wrong. Yes you will get more raw damage if you use healthy power or other mods, but you loose alot of quality of like Being able to switch while being CC urself. being able to knock off assassins 100% of the time, esc... If you wanna go with another dmg mod that's fine. But you are misleading ppl if u tell them that is better. You are no arguing with me but with Arti who originally made this build to be the best possible, and he is a genius with numbers and all the "pros" rock tenacity for a reason...

And of if you wanna go with raw dmg i will alwasys tell you to do what makes the game fun to you so, if you wanna do it i fully think you should go for it, But also if you are gonna go with a 3rd dmg mod dont go for healthy, because when you play barb you will take a lot of dmg so you will not have 100% up time on healthy power instead i would go for swap crit dmg. That will be a lot better than healthy and will give you a lot more dmg.

Yeah i understand but you Can easly counter assassins just using turtle stances ability so they can't catch you and most of the time you're not cc

@@MatTrice00 Very true but you undertand that requiers you to actively wtach out for assasians and use turtle stance, meanwhile tena has 100% uptime. Also assasians is just one of the reasons in high onslough its more about the cc on you like the frost orcs that slows you making u unable to switch heros. I have tried both build for barb and i would go for Tena barb all day. And again if you wanna build him without tena, thats ofc fine. But dont make it seem better than Arti barbarian
