Listening to this again I realize this is the best era after rainbow for me. Her runs were on point, her mid belts were on point, lows on point, head voice and falsettos WITH vibrato on point, confidence on point, and the most important of it all is you could see the happiness on her face throughout the entire tour. Vocally she may not have had much upper register like some of the others after rainbow, but what she did have was better executed than everything else post rainbow imo. I know people will hate and disagree, but that’s likely cuz they think attempting higher notes = better singing, and it doesn’t. If it’s not suooorted well then it really shouldn’t be attempted imo. What she did have in this era, she was on point with and consistent. Hero, My All, Vision of Love, Glitter Medley, and YDKWTD/Emotions mashup were on point, all sung in a healthy way, no overly pushed or strained notes just to try to hit higher notes, it makes the entire performance better and more consistent for my ears.

She sounded so youthful on Dreamlover 😍😍😍

je trouve Mariah vraiment au meilleur de sa forme vocal et c'est une aubaine pour ce concert en France. je me suis toujours posé la question de savoir pourquoi elle n'incluait pratiquement jamais les remixes de ses chansons dans ses concerts. Je dois dire que c'est une très belle surprise. Bravo mariah. Je m'en veux juste à mort d'avoir raté ça !
