I always dreamt of going to Norway from early childhood. I finally went 3 years ago and it was everything I dreamed of! The people are lovely and the scenery breathtaking.
Norway has to be one of the most beautiful countries that I've ever seen. For scenic splendour, this nation has to be easily in my top three favourite places, along with alpine Austria and Switzerland. HH Exeter, Devon.
We just came back from 10 days road trip in Western Norway one week ago. We had covered most of the areas including the ones you have shown in this video such as Andalsnes, Trollstigen, Hellesylt, Oye, Stryn, Olden, Briskdale glacier etc. We have visited many European and other countries earlier. But I must say Norway's beauty is incredible and the best of all. Its landscape is truly fairy tale type. Thanks for the video. I had planned for our trip after seeing your videos on Norway. We had started from Oslo and taken route 7 t reach to Voss via Gol, Geilo, Hardangerfjord. After few days stay in Voss, we had gone to Bolestrand via Gudvangen- Kaupenger ferry. From there we had gone to Hellesylt via Utvik, Skei, Stryn, Olden, Hellesylt. After spending few days there, we drove to Isfjodgen via Strandra, Trollstigen, and Andalsnes and then drove back to Oslo via Dombas and Lillehammer. I must say the trip was the best of all we have done so far.
Look forward to seeing your full video. I love watching your videos. Everything i.e. the picture quality, voice quality, pace of commentary etc. is perfect in your videos. Regarding Norway, there is no doubt that the country gives a good feel of wilderness due to its natural beauty and remoteness, but, it hits hard on tourists pockets due to the cost. I found that it is pretty expensive in terms of accommodation, food, and transportation, particularly car ferries when we traveled in remote and rural areas. We had mostly stayed in cottages and resorts where we were mostly preparing at least breakfast and dinner meals (we are a family of four). But the cost of grocery items is pretty high when I compare to the other countries of the world. Even I was under the impression that being an oil and gas producing country, fuel and transport would be cheaper, but, it was not the case. Having said that, I would love to go there again and again.
@@sunandaswain2127 Just a comment about cost of ferries: If you are going to travel a lot in the western part of Norway, you may buy a discount ticket which will give you a 50 % discount on almost all ferries.
As a young Merchant Navy officer in the 60's/70s, visited Norway many times. This brought back great memories of fantastic scenery. Most visited place was Narvik (loading iron ore), but also Mo-I-Rana and Kirkenes. On voyages to Murmansk , outside Lofotens in summer, but inside passage (Harstad to Honningsvaag) in Winter months - awesome Winter scenery. Worldwide travel. but Norway comes out tops every time! Would love to revisit, but awfully expensive!
Those who dislike this video are not human beings and I'm asking myself if they really have hearts. This video it's truly amazing and I'll be visiting Norway in December of this year

Amazing Norway! Visiting Norway is one of my greatest dreams... sadly it will remain as dream. I loved Norway since our World Geography class back in college. I was so amazed by its beauty especially nature... falls, greens, urora borealis! I actually named my son after it... NORWAY NIÑO! :)

prsw100 Iceland was amazing. A land like no other. I visited Reykjavik. Travelled the Golden Circle and the South of Iceland. Would certainly recommend you going there. Glaciers. Lava fields. Beaches. Geysers and many beautiful views. Maybe we can swap opinions when I visit Norway :)

You can certainly feel proud, I have visited many countries, and Norway on most things has to be number one! It would be my number one place to live if it were not for one thing. The winter! P.S. I liked the way Norway respected its citizens by paying everybody fair wages.
Paul, This is my favorite video. I have so been anxious to travel to Norge. My last visit was in 1976. Since then I have contacted relatives, locating ancestral contacts, especially those south of Kolbu, on Store Setne, the home of my ancestors from 1600-1960. The Setne family evidently sold at that time. I am working on the reason. At any rate, thank you once again for your efforts on my ancestral home. I will be going asap. Hopefully, my Norwegian cousins will make it through well to the other side of Covid.

Its so lovely and breathtaking documentary type of movie, fantastic commentary and awesome picturesque scenery. Some very attractive English is used in the commentary. All the time it look like that I am watching and great movie. Beside all that I noticed that the places visited were isolated. People were far and few between. I am a social man and I need the people to talk beside all great waterfalls and mountain peaks. All in all I enjoyed the film.
I'm from Norway and I have been in some of the places you showed. Makes me want to revisit them. I enjoyed your film, your voice is pleasant and you are good at describing what you see. It all had a professional touch. You should have a trip to Lofoten, north in Norway. Its a beautiful place. I'm going there this summer on my motorcycle. Norway is such wonderful, beautiful an awesome country in the world..I been there 6 month with my lovely girlfriend,that was really good time..I love Norwegian culture, society an natural things.. Hope I will be visit next year
