HD Remaster - X VS ZERO DECISIVE BATTLE 2

Glad you enjoy it. Thanks for the many views in first week! However, it's not a new animation so I don't expect a LOT more of views actually. Also, this is just for people who wanted a remaster, the original animation got millions already. :) I rarely make videos now, I'm very busy and mostly prefer drawing. Perhaps some time again. I don't prioritize these stuffs anymore so don't expect much. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Btw, Maverick Hunter X/Day of Sigma is a reboot not part of the original X timeline but despite that I want it included on this fan re-imagining. The use of Unlimited X potential (shining hands) to Awakened Zero would be a unique and fun idea. It can make the animation distinctive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's nice that even though I included X6 weapons/armors on an X5 battle people are pretty cool about it. :) Anyway this is just a fan re-imagining of X vs Zero. I was thinking of replacing the X6 weapons/armors into X1-X5 weapons but looking back at the comments, the 2010 animation became nostalgic! If I do that, the changes would be a lot, it could mess with nostalgia. I better keep it that way. However, I may still do an alternate version without the X6 stuffs.

I love how the animation is 80% dodging and deflecting each other’s attacks 10% dialogue 6% screaming 4% actually destroying eachother

Thank you for taking the time to redo this in HD. This isn't anything id ever expected, or even asked for, but i am still happy you made it. The next biggest thing I'm looking forward to is an HD version of Zero vs Omega. While not likely to happen, I can still hold out hope. I have more hope of this remake happening than X9 or ZX 3.

I remember telling all of my friends about these really cool sprite fights back when I was in HS. Your animations imprinted the concept of music sync and cinematic fights that I draw from this and the Omega Zero fight when I write my own fight scenes. Good job man.

The whole last leg of the fight was phenomenal but 5:44 was absolute perfection and goes so hard (the rest of the fight was good too but that conclusion was another level). So glad RU-vid recommended it to me 10/10 would get newgrounds flash animation nostalgia again One thing i absolutely loved is that even though most of it was dodging and countering you sprinkled in real hits throughout making the whole thing feel a lot more genuine

You've managed to capture the very essence of horrendous dialogues in Mega Man. Also I love the title "Decisive battle 2", as if the first one wasn't decisive.

This video will of course go down in history as one of the best fight animations of all time. Way to go!

Damn. Now that the images are clearer, I'm noticing so much more detail. I always thought Zero pushed X's buster out of the way at the last minute, but X just did missed on purpose. Good stuff. Also, nice touch putting in green biker dude in 5:52. Got a good chuckle out of that one.

I loved the original and you have taken it and made it even more perfect I especially love that you put in more detail in some parts of the fight like better effects when attacks were fired or blocked or smoke effects when something blew up

Wow! Amazing sprite animation! Haven't seen sprite animation this good since SMBZ. I will point out one flaw I noticed. When Zero gains his "Ultimate" Black Armor, his Z-Saber is also upgraded to the point where it's no longer green colored but purple. Just thought I'd point that out.

Honestly surprised the animation on this has aged as well as it has. Like sure, some bits come off as a bit dated but a lot of the shots are smooth and well composed, its iconic for a reason.

Don’t get me wrong, one of my first videos I seen a few years back and I love it, but something was lost from the old one to this one. Maybe graphics or something else, but zero seemed more menacing back in the old one and X felt stronger if that makes sense. Graphics compliment it but I will always love both videos.

Masterfully remade and a truly amazing piece of work, both then and now. Although I for one kind of miss X just outright decking Zero after the holo X takeout right before the boss gate sequence. That was awesome.

This was great. I loved the little changes you made with some of the fights that actually improved the quality overall. I hope you can continue to make more of these kinds of battles. Perhaps try to expand to Battle Network and Starforce as well. There's much potential to be gained from those as well.

2:20 Zero shoots three shots, rather than two. 3:28 Zero's Kuuenzan splits X's shot into two, rather than four. 3:54 The blasts during the Ride Armor segment were redone, going from translucent blue rays to bright masses of energy. 4:00 The screen no longer lights up as X charges his Giga Attack, and the blasts now have yellow cores in addition to the other visual changes. (Thanks, Thunder Knight) 4:55 The fire wave in Burn Dinorex's stage is shown being blocked by the terrain. 5:16 Ultimate Armor X enters with a Nova Strike, rather than punching Zero in the face. 5:28 A barrier forms whenever X's Nova Strike is blocked by Awakened Zero. 5:45 Unlimited Potential X's Buster Shots are blue from the start, instead of being green at first then turning blue near the end. 6:00 Zero appears to use Shin Messenkou here, when in the original, the attack seemed to be Rekkoha. It may have been intended to be Shin Messenkou from the start. Those were all of the major differences I could see, ignoring the HD graphics, new audio, and voice clips.

This was the first ever RU-vid video i've watched when i came in 2011 and i was 9 that time. I'm crying, i'm seeing through my childhood now.

I love your old animations to death. The dynamic high-speed action, the musical timing, the integration of story elements and flashbacks and character dialogues... it really enhances a simple sprite battle into a dramatic finale worthy of the best anime!

I don't think you understand how much you mean to the Megaman community. Long after the games came out, you still continued to make great content that we came back to watch again and again. I used to come back to the original, to verify that in fact, it still was one of the best videos of the internet. AND YOU MADE IT BETTER Such a love letter to the x series, and such a display of the awesomeness this saga creates. I love it. And don't worry about using x6 stuff. Makes it even more of a compilation of all the cool stuff, and it's not hard to imagine a slightly different timeline when things happened like this.

When I first found this animation in its original form… I remember being in the thick of college, long after playing so many Mega Man, X, and Zero games, and joining the long wait for X9 to happen… and I loved it so much that I’ve rewatched many times and for many years on top of that too!
