Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir 2010 Vancouver Olympics Original Dance (Ice Dance Champion) Music: Farrucas by Pepe Romero Total Score 68.41 Executed Elements 32.90 Factored Program Components 35.51 1st place
Wow...I knew they were good, but it’s my first time seeing this, and my jaw is on the ground. Their artistry and interpretation of music-I can’t. So complex and sophisticated indeed. The way she utilized the dress, the lifts, synchronicity, it was so original and fun! I can’t!
NO other couple brings their character onto the ice like Tess and Scott! Wow! I am amazed and astounded every time I watch their routines- It never gets old!!! :D
It's 9 years after I first saw this program, and I still absolutely LOVE it! I'm American, and while I definitely had my eye on them after their stunning CD, it was after this thrilling OD that I absolutely wanted them to win the gold
Only rivaled by the awesomeness of their non touch step sequence from their SD 2018 olympics. That one isn't as complicated probably but awesome none the less.
How did none of the onlookers not spontaneously combust?!? This was explosive! These two. I'm so glad they've got a great body of work over the years to watch but I really want my sleep back.
Oddly enough THIS is my favorite of all their performances(I love all their dances - no mistake about that)...but THIS one for some reason is my fav - they show off their mad skills and perfect precision so well...I of course love "Roxanne" at PyeongChang but....well everyone has to have a fav :)
I can´t stop watching this performance and many more. Everything seems so perfect and they are as one. Tessa and Scott are the most wonderful ice dancers. I just love them.
I've lost count of how many times i've watched this video and I can't get tired. This is the best of the best. I can't wait for Pyeongchang! Virtue & Moir all the way
It's been two weeks since I encountered this performance and I've been watching this clip three times a day since then. Every time I watch this I almost tear up (and sometimes actually cry) at the end. What a performance.
I love everything about this performance: the music, steps, musicality, the difficult lift, arm movements and the outfits. It's perfect and the best flamenco I've seen on ice.
They are the queen and the king of ice dancing!!!! What a perfect, passionate and magnificent performance!!!! I love D&W's indian OD too but this flamenco was outstanding!!! Professional footwork, expressing movements and mimics, that lift at 1:37 was gorgeous..in one word this is an EPIC performance!!! Thank You, Tessa and Scott for lighting up our universe!! You are natural born artists who can create so beautiful things. You deserve the olympic gold again next year!!! God bless You!!!!!
As I watch this video a while ago, I can't hide my overwhelming joy for these two magnificent ice skaters. How they sway, glide and execute the difficult steps to the rythmn of the music is heart breathingly beautiful. No skaters can perform as magical as these two. From the Philippines.
Tessa&Scott: passoin&fire on the ice!!!:)) This Flamenco-Faruccas is just brilliant !!!!! I've never seen better Flamenco on ice for about 40 years!..(Only one of Marina Anissina&Guendal Paizerat,Olympia 2002 can be comparable..) Chapeau !!!:)))))
Scott Moir is so sturdy yet so limber at the same time. His body is literally insane. What a God-given talent. I believe that he has the best skating skills of all time (including all 4 disciplines).
I think Scott is one of, if not the most influential male ice dancer of the modern era. He was lithe and strong. Very masculine but graceful. Beautiful edging, great dancer, very expressive. He was so sure on his skates and moved with such confidence that it made everything he did look natural and easy. He was a great showman but also could blend to let Tessa shine.
by far thei were the best a perfect hamony a perfect gesture of the body language ,we saw an encredibale performance of the flaminco on ice , , in this performence they were not canadian but spanish , HOLYE
I don't know how many times I have watched this, it never gets old. Watching this as a Canadian live was something else. Absolutely beautiful. I think this was the best moment at the 2010 Olympics for Canada, and certainly one i will never forget. One more reason to be proud to be proud to be Canadian. You make us proud Scott and Tessa!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
the musicality of the NtMiSt is just breath-taking...how the steps and turns match EVERY SINGLE BEAT of the music...with almost complete one-footed skating....I don't understand how it was a level 3? Like how could you possibly make it more difficult?
Are they a couple off the ice? If not, they sure seem like it on the ice, which is a tribute to how well they portray the characters of each dance they perform. They relate to each other like they are in love, especially in this original dance. Moir totally holds his own too, which is unusual in ice dancing, as the woman usually steals the show. Same could be said of White of the American pair.
Woow 😎😱So amazingly graceful perfect petformance & awesome beautiful duo team Lover & the moves style on ice skate talent is really a Champion Winner..! 👏👏👏👏 💝💚
Since the Olympics I watch it everyday. I love them and this program. I remember it was in the middle of the night when I watched it live (I live in Europe), and at the end I shout that they should won, and if they don't get to the 1st place (which they deserved after the CDs too), the Olympics is cheated. I was happy for them.
