This was so much cooler when SP did it. But, cool to see the tank with SP representation and the old SP locomotive shop building is still standing. Love this little place.
I watched this thinking I might see my UP Freight Conductor brother either get off or get on....no luck! Better luck next time. He runs between Rocklin and Dunsmuir all the time.
Isn't it obvious that this channel is dead. And whoever was the owner of this channel quit RU-vid. Who knows why maybe It was a hassle for the person to go out & produce new content every week. Or maybe the creator of this channel got tired of railfanning and just quit youtube for a good reason who knows!
@@maxshelltrack9720 When capacity allows, many railroads choose to move _empty_ racks back to auto assembly plants or their mixing centers in manifest trains to avoid running long distance unit trains of empty racks - which is expensive given that it generates no revenue. It is not unusual to see eastbound blocks of empty racks within manifest trains, especially in western and inter-mountain states, given that they are located great distances away from auto assembly plants and rail auto mixing centers in the Midwest and southeastern United States.
