Enjoyable and engaging presentation on this topic. I finally caught up with your channel, could subscribe, and will help spread the news here in the states. Kent
My brand new Peterson Aran 68 was gurgling and a quick search brought me here. My questions have been answered. Thank you Sir and greetings from Texas!
Good vid thabo. I find mine gurgles when smoking too fast and the bowl seems to get hotter. Have to say i much preferred this intro over the older one, not as full on! - shaun
Boy did I learn my lesson really quick with the beast of moisture. My experience when I first started smoking the pipe was tongue bite gurgling did bother me that bad remedied with a pipe cleaner. But tongue bite has been avoided, let's just say I learned to dry my tobacco before smoked
Great video, very interesting and you definitely hit on the key points. Nice to see the cross section like that. I also prefer my tobacco in between moist and dry range as you mentioned. Happy smokes and take care.
Thx for the video. Thinking how can change pipe itself. This one church warden has never met a tabacco it couldn’t gurgle. I’ve tried every other thing. It’s got to be the pipe
Appreciate the tips! Oddly, I have a 6 pipe rotation, and only one of which set me back more than $30. Wouldn't you know it's the most expensive one I own that gives me the most problems?! Perhaps I should stick with corn cobs!
If my pipe gurgle and i am more then half way down the bowl i just do 3 quiq pufs and let my pipe heat up a bit for a few seconds and often the gurgle disapear. And if you really dont like the gurgling of your pipe then it is a good idea to smoke a block meerschaum pipe. It wil do all the work for you and make it disapear automaticly. I often let the moist tobacco dry for 5 minutes or i put a littlebit of dry tobacco in the bowl or the sparrow chalk philtpad in the bowl and i even thinking about salt cristals in the Peterson system pipes. But i can't say that wil work because i have to experiment with that. Great information so far. But did you really saw a pipe in two for the video?? I sure hope not hahahaha. It looks like a K&P Peterson's pipe. Greetings,, Kitty.
