That´s nonsense. A wisdom in teaching; Those who can, do Those who understand, teach. In 35 years of teaching I´ve only “showed off” with students who were too confident in their ignorance. They don´t know what they don´t know, right? THAT´S when to show them why you´re the teacher. ;-) Good dancers are not neccesarily good teachers. Ofcourse students like to see their teachers dance but it isn´t neccesary

No we don't do/use tylonal. We're always in pain or discomfort. What he meant by "hurt" is in the moment not all day or forever... When dancers don't warm up/stretch enough before dancing or demonstrating techniques we will immediately or soon feel the error of that decision. It also makes/reminds us we are alive and love what we do...

@@tonygonzalez6908My instructors for ballroom dancing in high school would say that confidence is showing everyone how good you are, and arrogance is telling everyone how good you are. In the high school ballroom scene, some teenagers have a hard time letting go of the “arrogant” attitude that is often necessary on the dance floor, when they leave the dance floor. Hence the discussion of arrogance vs confidence. The confident dancers are often friendly and chatty when they leave the floor. The arrogant dancers avoid talking, and look disgusted to talk with anyone.

But this desire and realization of the need of full demonstration, the signa of a great instructor, able to show and encourage students to seek out the potential they have, the goals they can reach and surpass! ❤ Long live us instructors that keep dancing outside of the teaching and choreographing for the youngins! Honestly the worst thing (in my opinion) about teaching a physical sport and art form is being cold and having to physically show what you need the students to do because no matter how detailed you explain something they look at you like 😐🫤 And yes your body feels it after, especially if you teach multiple classes in a row Because even if you warm up with your students you get cold so quickly because you are correcting or watching and aren’t constantly moving like them In other words please y’all be patient and understanding with your teachers 😂 We are out here hurting ourself more often teaching than when we practice or perform because we care so much about our students lol

Eloquent & thought-provoking explanation. I've not taken dance, but BRILLIANT teachers are so dedicated and professional, yet warm & KIND. I have interviewed scores of teachers, professors, educational administrators, counsellors and others in the educational field in the decade plus that I home learned my kids, and the degree of ENTHUSIASM each maintained seeking those FEW STUDENTS,which are EAGER to LEARN was DEEPLY TOUCHING. The teachers I spoke to LOVED teaching BECAUSE of the opportunity to positively impact a child's LIFE. Countless individuals spoke of "teachable moments" and how passionate they felt about THOSE whose LOVE of LEARNING was KINDLED. It is a misconception that we who homelearn (or homeSCHOOL their children) do NOT respect and appreciate TEACHERS...my admiration for teachers only EXPANDED during those conversations. These caring professionals offered me ~ gratis and with endearing generosity countless tips upon how to nurture and protect the love of learning preexistant in my sons. I ADORED and RESPECTED teachers prior to embarking on this journey, and those feelings doubled and redoubled due to the KINDNESS afforded me.

His leaps suspend in the air, reaching further as he falls. My legs instinctively snap back the moment gravity pulls me downward, "reflexively" to catch myself from falling. So impressive. You have to fight the urge to catch yourself from falling. To ignore gravity, for that extra half second makes the leap so much more elegant.

@DanceintheRaine666 Месяц назад
The ratio of boys to girls is so off kilter...and the girls who are NOT serious students VIE for the boy's attention, whereas the dedicated danseurs see their value as dance PARTNERS. Let's face it...a girl whose true primary interest is for a potential romantic partner is far less interesting than the few who are PASSIONATE about LEARNING their ART. As the years progress, the gap between the two types of females WIDENS. Boys who dance KNOW the DEDICATION HARD WORK and PASSION those girls who are SERIOUS invest in their art, and they APPRECIATE the young women for far more than their grace and beauty. My son felt it was HILARIOUS that many other boys would QUESTION his heterosexuality, given that he was enrolled in break dancing (not ballet) but he simply LAUGHED at their ignorance. A young man who respects dedicated girls exponentially more than those lacking these qualities have a distinct advantage over those who value only surface appearances. There is such physical beauty in such women, but the inner qualities, when they are genuinely APPRECIATED are more meaningful. A beautiful young woman is far more beautiful when she has a personality, intelligence, a sense of humour and genuine CONFIDENCE. Those young girls who invest the YEARS in perfecting their art are such lovely human beings. ❤
