As an older “wiser” viewer, you should view it as an honor to be invited, you were an integral part of his life and therefore, you’re still important to him to be invited. You wouldn’t have been had you not. Having been married myself, a lot of people don’t make the cut when planning a wedding, because imply those most important to you get sent an invitation. You may end up regretting not going also, and would it hurt his feelings if you don’t go? Still being friends with all of my exes , I have deep affection for them all and consider them lifelong friends I will cherish always. So GO, bring a date and have a wonderful time!

Honestly, I feel like you should go to the wedding, & that deep down you want to go & feel like you should. You speak so highly of the couple, etc. & you are just a supportive person, so do it! You will have such a good time being in your old neck of the woods, seeing people you know, dressing up, showing out, & probably meet someone ☺

As someone who has gone to an exes wedding, it was something I actually spoke to both together about whether my going could take away some of their magic. They said no and that they had already discussed it before inviting me. I had a great time, and I am so happy I went to support their love.

I have seen a few people in drought areas do a lawn full of clovers instead of grass and it looks green and beautiful and magical all year round. It’s stunning! You barely have to cut them. I’m waiting to get a yard I can do this in even though I am nowhere near a drought I just think it looks magical!!

Hi Daniel, as usual your videos are jammed packed with great content. As far as going to the ex boyfriend’s wedding, since you still are still friends with your ex and you get along well with his partner you could comfortably/appropriately attend the ceremony /reception (just don’t go around introducing yourself as the ex 😂😂) I think it’d be fun to catch up with old friends. I think it is up to whether you really want to go or not. What kind of tree is that in your front yard? It’s spectacular! Can’t wait to see the front yard reveal. I've been to a friend i had a huge crush on wedding and i loved her. We were never together but I really care for her. I am glad she's happy and I was there regardless of our past. It was her day and I was just supporting and celebrating her. I feel like if you can be friends with an ex celebrating the moments in thier lives would be more important than focusing on the heartbreak.

I went to my Ex’s wedding two years ago lol! His sister is my best friend and I’ve gotten close to their family, including his now wife so she actually invited me! And despite me being happily married, because there are no feelings there and I’m closer to his wife and family over him (I don’t really have any relationship with him), it was not weird and it was so nice to see them happy and say vows! Plus our relationship was so long ago that it doesn’t compare to any current!

I gave one of my online friends a box of my clothes I picked out just for her and she loved it so much! Sharing is such a beautiful thing to do with the people in our lives or strangers via donation. I will say that the SO & I raced to the donation store the other day because they accidentally donated my boots that still had my medical braces in them!😅 Luckily the store helped us find them and so I've been finding different items to donate to them to make up for taking them back.😂 Thank you for your vlogs, Daniel.❤

D - If you want to go to the wedding & feel like it won't impact your inner zen, emotional & mental health adversely, then go for it. 😃🎊🎉 If they didn't want you there, they wouldn't have invited you. Long story short, check in with your Heart 💖 (not your mind) on if you should go. p.s. - Don't let that spinach go to waste. Cut up those strawberries & some red onions, add them to the spinach along with some walnuts, drizzle some balsamic glaze & a nice olive oil with some goat cheese ... perfection 👌

A couple of things… your house looks gorgeous and you have impeccable taste. Who you invite to a wedding is a well thought out decision, which makes me think you are really wanted there. Also I’m sure at least a few of his loved ones would know you’re invited. It might be good to talk with them about your feelings? Or talk with them about attending just the ceremony, or just sending a gift. Do what you’re comfortable with ❤️, just let them know you care and that the friendship is important to you. I think it sounds like a lovely story with your ex and his fiancé. It was interesting to see some of the brands of groceries are the same as in Australia, and that you had chickpea pasta but canned garbanzo beans - they’re all called chick peas here but may sometimes be called chickpeas on one side of a can and garbanzo on the other for imported goods. I love love that you air dry clothes, I didn’t think Americans did that, but it’s more eco and when dried outside smell gorgeous. Your wardrobe clean out is impressive! As a social worker I think it’d be great if you donated directly to an agency where they will be free for vulnerable people, although I understand that requires more organising that dropping off at an op shop (thrift stores I think you call them).

I think I'd do a gift and not go. So selfless and sweet of you to be so considerate.

You can freeze spinach and use it in many recipes, especially soup! 😊 I have the same issue In not using it quickly enough before it goes bad, so I freeze the portion I know wouldn’t get used in time. Can i just say I love those Butterfly Trees/bushes I have them in my garden and they are stunning during the summer. Cant wait to see the vision of the front come to life, i really loved your description. I feel like you should atleast go to the service because if you dont you may end up regretting it. But Dont do anything that you dont want to thats just my opinion dont let it influence you.

good way to also use that spinach. Toast up a slice or two of that bread top it with some of your hummus and some sauteed spinach with some minced garlic, blk pepper and sea salt, then over top of that add a little bit of scrambled egg whites or a fried egg and a little bit of sriracha sauce if you like some heat, if not, just a little bit of black pepper . Soooo good. also good with a little sauteed mushrooms with the spinach. Changes up the avocado toast into a mediterranean hummus toast. You can also add a little feta if you want but hold back on the sea salt, if you do!

I love fresh line dried clothes, plus they don't shrink. 💕 I really don't have a good answer about the wedding but I'd probably send a gift, and like you said, a great gift.

You MUST turn your beautiful arch into a magic garden doorway! Idk how well you are with woodworking, but you should get into it and learn to create and attach a door shaped like the entirety of the arch with vines growing on it- and the door either made out of like bundled thin sticks along a thin wooden base or made in a way where the vines can easily grow. Ugh I can picture ideas so well but I stink at describing them! (or if not wood. Make it our of some other natural material like bamboo or something that just looks magical! Like iron or something..but that might be too heavy..who knows..just spouting ideas!!)

If going to the wedding will benefit you in a positive way then go by all means but if it will hurt you in anyway don't go. Hello from spain. You should go to the wedding as they have invited you, as they want people and family at one of they're most special days. It's an honor that they think of you as a special friend and they want you to share that day with them. If they didn't value your friendship they wouldn't of invited you. You were a big part of each others lives and continue to be so. And it's good the fact that you are still good friends after all these years. Cherish what you have and make new memories. It takes maturity to remain friends with an ex after it’s all said and done. You should definitely go to his wedding as long as the fiancé is okay with it and you’re going for the right reasons. Were you invited by the ex because he genuinely likes you or does he have motives? Take a plus one if you are feeling nervous about the upcoming nuptials. My best friend of 30 years has been married and divorced, but our relationship has remained strong. His influence on me is undeniable. After years of growing together and taking joy in his joy , makes it impossible to let our friendship go. We have just always worked better as friends. We did not like each other for some odd reason while we were together. As friends, he knows that I’ve nurtured his heart and he depends on that since he doesn’t trust that with just anybody. He didn’t seem to remember that while we were together and it caused problems. I hope he finds that true love, that’ll take care of him more than I do and he can trust them. Until then, I’m going to be here because it’s what he deserves. We just could never make it work romantically, but I’m so glad he’s still in my life. This world is a better place with him in it. And for those reasons, I’d be there for any milestone he has.
