hmm!, a week after our wedding in 2009, i was cooking lunch, and i noticed that my in laws had sat under the tree the whole morning to lunch, i had not seen them eating anything, even though it had been decided that i cook for my husband and i alone in the room given to us, i decided to dish for them, and the visitor who was also a relative, my husband saw me while going out to give them food, and since their visitor was already going i gave her pack to take home, instead of eating my husband stormed out angrily and went to his parents, to "reprimand them" "i didnt marry for you" "my wife cant cook for you" haaaai! i was shocked to death!, i went to my Mom in law, though she was laughing and pretending that it was not a big deal, i showed my dislike, in 2010 again, my inlaws came to visit where were staying, my husband had bought eggs and Russians for us, truly speaking that was the breakfast for only two people, so then, i decided that i would give my in laws Russians and we will eat eggs, he got very angry, and demanded his russian, but this time i understood why he got upset, i didnt communicate it with him, and how we can solve the matter, apparently i was supposed to let him know that the food was not enough for all of us😁 even though he has two eyes and saw that his parents had arrived, but then again, i was afraid of the reaction he would have towards his parents in regard to me serving them, he was the kind who will eat infront of anybody and enjoys it😁 but God is good, after 15yrs of our marriage, he is gradually changing, though his Mom (2020) and Dad (2012) arent alive anymore, he took care of his Mom to the last breath, though his motives could be questioned, but from somebody who wanted nothing to do with but end up taking that kind of responsibility it was a a breakthrough for us as the family, i remember that i had to forcibly take care of his father while he didnt bother at all. it isnt wise to follow the wrong behavior, i saw his parents as my own parents, he even took advantage of me at one time, but then, i had never celebrated when he treated his family badly, it was a shock and i feared for own family as well, there is nothing like I and my husband!
@@oreoluwaokuwobi he used my generosity towards his family to his advantage, i ended up being forced to take of our family financially, sometimes i would borrow for him but never got help in repaying the debt, he saw me as the money machine, he stopped doing business to better our family, he contributed less or nothing at all, until i couldnt live at all, at one point in 2014, my sister in law decided i pay rent, i am using "i" because he had been living there without paying rent, and we werent both told, the sister in law told me alone, so when he heard of the news he made it clear that he wont pay rent, for peace's sake, i would give him that money to pay rent and he would pocket it, i was so hurt and embarrassed when confronted about it, prior to that my sister in law had two funerals in different times and since she was struggling to bury his son and daughter in law, i assisted towards the burial, in those two funerals, i think his sister's law also saw me as the money machine because it was after that she started to ask that i pay for rent, but i was hurt when my husband took that money for rent and pocked it for himself, it was better if indeed he was refusing to pay rent he would have left it as that, hence why i felt he took advantage

I hate to say it and I know that it is not all circumstances but when you see men acting this way it’s because most times (not all) the parents have extremely spoiled them growing up and when they are doing wrong things, the parents or the mom have failed to correct them until they become older and it’s too late
