I’m sorry but really……he kills a freaking Fenrir, A MYTHICAL BEAST, and he does this at level FREAKING 8…..and it’s only worth 5 levels and some skills leveling up once…..now the skills I’d understand if it was a usage = leveling type of thing……but 5 levels from a freaking MYTHICAL BEAST…….the leveling system in this world is kinda retarded
It's called 'nerfing'. When authors give their MC with so many talents the story becomes too boring. So in order to not lose the suspense factor of the story, they forcefully Nerf their MC.
So I'm gonna put in my two cents here... I believe that his levels are actually tied to his vampirism. As we learned about half way through the goddess "organized" his skill. I believe she altered how his skills work including nerfing his exp required and nerfing his 5x exp gain. I honestly believe that if actually wants gain real levels he has to devour enemies.
