What stood out to me most was the bit when Andy said he’s “Just a driver” yet still went in depth to so much technical detail about the car. I’d really love an analysis like this to be done from the minds of the actual creators of the math behind the engineering.

Wow, what a spectacular video. I wasn't going to watch it because frankly, I've seen way too many "handover" videos. But this was so much more! Had the privilege of meeting Andy at a Jaguar dealership some time ago when he brought along his race winning Le Mans XJR, what a machine! Andy was so knowledgeable modest and unassuming, I could have happily listened to him all night.

James what do you think about the Daytona SP3 from Ferrari ? I haven't had anybody comment back to me when ive asked about the car ! Is it something that you would drive or want to drive ? Is it a good Ferrari unlike most of the other ones lol ?

I worked on that 1 of 8 300+ for the full custom PPF job. What an incredible car. Chris Singh is an incredible guy. My boss also did the Divo, full custom PPF and it won best of show.

And this is why i keep saying out of all hypercars Bugatti's are arguably the greatest marvel of engineering period , it's reliable as hell , it's usable as hell it doesn't claim to be a track monster it uses an out of the ordinary engine and they design the cars to look beautiful and modern even after 20 years , look back 20 years and look at Koenigseggs , Lamborghini's , Ferrari's , Pagani's of that era and you'll see how extremely dated and old they look yes they pretty but they still look old and the problem with them are they have screens and such and controls that look dated the Veyron doesn't even if you have a first gen Veyron all you do is upgrade the headlights and black out the interior chrome trim , and boom it's a modern car , nobody on the planet can compare to Bugatti the engineering marvel this company provides is just absurd and it pains me to think that Bugatti is getting rid of the engine that made them the kings , i can only hope the next gen , looks good because the Veyron was beautiful the Veyron Super Sport was a beautiful evolution of that then the Chiron was even prettier , just Bugatti is the automotive king the pinnacle the boss

2 TON monstrosity's ! and that's the Only reason they have a speed key and Koenigsegg Dosn't Michelin couldn't garanty safety at those speeds with 2 TON car weight but had no prob with under 1500kg

I still don’t understand how insuring these type of cars works as you may insure it for its initial value but with many hyper cars and Bugattis especially the value increases over time so do they do appraisals every couple of years or how does that work

Its always amazed me how even someone like Andy Wallace mistakes wastegages with blow off/diverter valves. This is SO common in all sorts of media from people who you'd think know a lot about cars. That sound you're hearing when you life off throttle is NOT the wastegate(s)!

What an amazing man. The science is way beyond me, but I feel I understood what he was saying. Not many have the ability to bring down to such a level. Proof if proof were needed, that you can just up the power and go faster. So much else has to be considered.

Amazing things to know how they have to deal to make very fast car. So basically Koenigsegg, Hennessy and few others have the same challanging things to deal with.

I already disliked Bugatti, the cars are ugly and they're French. Now that there's a collection of them owned by some Singh guy, the brand, especially those three cars, have lost value.

Yeah the Veyron was thought up by VW and VW bought Bugatti to have a badge befitting of that car because y wouldn't be selling for millions and like hot cakes if it where badged a VW the original renders did have a VW logo on there grill have u ever wondered why it looks like. A beetle on steroids yeah it's because VW designed and developed it and it nearly got badged as such I read allot on this in the late 90's and early 2000's pretty sweet the original renders I saw was red and silver with as VW badge they had the power train figured out already as well

I wonder what kind of heat is generated in those tires during the high speed run too. I'm sure that is factored in to the equation also, but it would be interesting to see. I'm sure the tire becomes super hot as it's coming towards the pavement, and then cooling the milisecond it leaves the pavement. Some big brains involved it making these beast.

Here are some quick facts that may interest you (hopefully not bore your audience): of all the shows mentioned by responders of the survey, 7 youtube shows were the most frequently watched, liked & respected for their content, style, entertainment value, etc. Of the 7 shows most frequently watched by the 100 responders, your channel did not make the top 6 list James. I am sorry. Just joking! Your channel was the most watched! Congrats! The top 3 of the 6 were Jason Camissa, Top Gear & Autotrader. From some of the comments receieved, here are a few: 1. "there are a lot of youtubers claiming to be experts in cars. Yet have not owned or driven any supercars or hypercars." 2. "There are numerous youtubers killing themselves to get any sort of view that is recognized by the youtube metrics system. Lots of noise, claims, drama, etc. But very few of the youtube automotive channels share one single fact that is worth anything. Quality. For noise, there is DDE, CARWOW, etc. " Anyway James, your number of subs may be less than 1 mil, but every subscriber that you have is equivalent to 10. Your videos are outstanding. They can be seen today or in 10 years. Something always to learn from and entertaining. In paticular, the Bugatti video was amazing! Thank you again for all the effort by yourself and your team! Quick comment: regardless of opinions, dividing your attention between the primary channel and the uncut, has it been worth it to divide your attention from quality as well as the uncut channel taking away some of your personal time that you barely have currently for rest, personal development, family, etc? the cars themselves are amazing and the enthusiasm is wild. but my god this level of wealth is sickening. socialism should prevent this insane hoarding of money and "goods" while the majority live in poverty and starve. doubly so for those that voted brexit. the estate and car buyer should be in the town square getting tomatos thrown at them

Insurance is not a very interesting bit, i mean if the owner loses the car he could very well miss that money, so we are basically cheering up for a person receiving 3 million dollar back, even tho he doesnt need it at all.
