Exactly this. How did no one say anything about this? He said it like 5 times too. So yup every single card in the series and no duplicates. 😅 Haha. He did get a good deal though for the packs.
I’m surprised you didn’t know the significance of what this guy had. He had some of the holy grails of 80’s nostalgia ! Garbage pail kids and transformers are right up there with anything from that time. I just couldn’t believe it took you so long to grab this stuff.
He knows what they are lmao, if he got excited too fast then the seller would’ve noticed he could’ve gotten more than $500, he played dumb so he can get him to $500 instead of a 1,000,
I am pretty sure that GI Joe military green box is worth something. Passed it up. I have that box still and it’s rare to find the plastic tray inside because it’s really fragile.
this is why i kept all my pokemon and Topps pokemon movie cards :) and one day my kid will have a FORTUNE i still got sealed Aquapolis and skyridge packs worth 1,000 each .. i got whole box of em :) . be careful for re seal packs they getting good at it
wow a whole box of series 5 unopened garbage pail kids? that's like a dream come true I would LOVE to own that, I have a full set of series 1 and 3 ...just wow ...ooh just editing my post, its a series 2, whole box and you paid 500 cash, you sir got a bargain and a half, absolutely great find, I would easily pay 850 for that, so glad I found this channel.
I’m so confused, I don’t know much about this but it sounded weird, the guy said Series 5 at first then proceeded to say Series 2 after so like idk, is it 5 or 2?
haha those people were cool. i felt bad when the kid couldnt sell his switch for some reason and he said i'm sorry sir, than the other one trying too sell you a phone xD they needed that dough! and that gpk is definitely a holy grail
Geez, I felt so bad for this guy. It seems like he was desperate for money, but he had some really great products. I can’t figure out why these people don’t open an eBay account, and sell some of these great products for much more money? The fees, and taxes can be compensated for when you sell for much higher prices. I know it can be a hassle, because I do it myself, but it can certainly be more profitable than garage sale pricing. By the way, what the hell was that noise coming out of that dog?
He took that guys desperation for $ and used him for a far higher profit rate then he should have...those packs sell $30 each over $1200 n only gave him $500 I'd have given $800 easy n still killed the profit
The garbage pail kids should net you a decent profit, they are a hot item here in Canada with collectors. Great video, keep up the great work! Hmm that gold….the precious gold coin….
If I was this guy with the GPK cards I wouldn't sell them, I still have mine from the 80's and would not sell them, money comes and goes but those are memories....by the way he got hosed at 500 bucks
$40 would be ripping off a damn child, not cool! Give them at least $60 and easily double your money. The parts for the controller don't lose any of the value they've probably already had the parts for it back at the pawnshop! I can't believe the mom said "20 bucks" haha poor kids...
Going to a garage sale by going into ones house and talking to kids about selling their hand held videos is not cool. If it was for sale it should have been in the garage FOR SALE!
Gotta agree, I felt instantly bad at that situation, especially when the kid apologised twice - I'm pretty hardened to buying and selling, but in that spot I'd have given the kids $50 each. Do that and everyone wins. Giving is its own reward, sometimes.
Horrible dad at that house lol. Money hungry trying to sell his kids stuff as they are literally playing with it. And he didn’t even know what he had. Open box of cards thinking he has a grail😂. Too funny.
Series 1 is the holy grail if you come across one… $1,000 for series 2 is way to much.. sorry bro even $500 for series 2 is too much..you could find them on the web for $200-$350 $400 the most
1 pack of OS2 averages about $45, so $2160 for the whole box, not including the sale of the container. Unless the packs feel damaged and the gum is stuck to the cards or is shattered.
I was just saying on here after seeing this. it looked like they needed the money and $1000 was a massively fair price seeing as each pack is on average about $45 so $2160 for them all.
