This is a crazy podcast, mind blowing in terms of business, 1. Deep understanding the customers problems. 2. Growing without funding it's not easy when you are in a hire competition. 3. What's the pain, when you trained someone, you have expectations and he left. 4. Word of mouth can change your business A lot of things I learnt from this podcast. Raj bhai, keep doing this work. I never comment but today I feel so grateful after watching your two podcasts and get what I was searching for. Thank you so much ❤
A conversation from the heart. A company who is genuinely customer centric. A lot of companies talk about this but don't really have the right policies towards their clients. The best podcast conversation ❤
He was too customer centric before covid. During covid, he got an opportunity to get his company to certain heights. Now, in 2023, with few recent experiences, I can say Prashant too has entered the bandwagon of money centric business people. Good going sir !
This guy is very brave... He is only talking about fundamentals of business i.e. principles of success. I am putting this comment first time on any podcast
Probability most honest and best podcast on raj shamani 🎉🎉🎉 this gentleman is not just like others who are more of hit and run or sprint brand creation type who create companies thats not stand for generations....
So much to learn in just a free flowing conversation. This is gold for budding entrepreneurs. Didn't realise it was over 1hr 35mins. It just flew by and came to an end too soon. Hope to see him back soon.
Feeling same 1:04:00 .... I am hiring my 11th employee.... It' very critical situation for my startup. I was very relaxed. I hired him after reading 120+ cvs and interviewed 40+ candidates. 26th Nov is his joining date and he just mailed today that he can not join..😥😪 But still I'm just smiling.... I'll make everything fine.... 😊😊😇
Two amazing people talking having so much of values and gratitude ingrained in them. No wonder they are so ahead today. Wish you both the best of life always.
Hi Sir Can you please invite wives and kids of the successful entrepreneurs to your show. We want to understand their perspective. Since this journey has a lot of ups and downs, moments of doubts, anxiety, quitting thoughts etc. And without the extreme strong support of wives/parents/kids I personally feel that nobody can achieve the success.
This is the best interview on entrepreneurship I have ever seen coz this founder has emotional intelligence and he understands the value of customer loyalty. I believe you can create wealth by creating value you don’t have to rip off people. And it definitely is off putting when a business doesn’t care about customers.
Thank you for sharing your journey of building EaseMyTrip, it's truly inspiring to hear about your success and how you never saw losses. As a competitor in the travel industry, I have learned a lot from your company and its founders. Looking forward to meeting you soon
Bring more bootstrapped founders. Cause they can teach the crucks of the business, mindset etc. Great content. This is one of the best way to learn business.
Prashant is absolutely right, practical & amazing. This is an outstanding & beneficial discussion for lakhs of business entrepreneurs. Well done Raj 👏👏

Lovely, never heard about the depth they have. Amazing business level EMT achieved being a family owned company. Lot to learn. Thanks a lot Raj for this one. Super happy spending Sunday listening to this podcast.
What a friendly conversation revealing the busyness secrets of Prashant without claiming he did Sth exceptional. A big hand to Raj Shamani asking one by one business success clue and the some personal family related questions and even the Prashant given the positivity increasing answers . Both May live long , God so always bless you for the service to others .🎉🎉🎉
Raj,I have been watching/ listening to your podcasts since last couple of days. You are charmer, intelligent and a well researched person. Thats your usp to take out the best from your guests. I have little stake in easemytrip, and after listening to it, I am inclined to up my stake. Yesterday I listened your podcast with promoters of Ether ( EV scooters) and will also study their business model and PE and other parameters to see if it is available at discount or nor. May be I will have little stake which can be increased during market fall. Thanks for bringing such nice podcasts
during COVID lockdown, my dad had to cancel his roundtrip tickets to another country booked through EMT. Easemytrip sent him a generic email that stated 'check your account to see if any refund is available against cancellation' and he got it back within 48 hours. No waiting on phone calls, no writing emails / tweets, just a simple process solved it.
shared, put it as my status as a gratification for the content....loves you both guys...got a lot much of information. thank you so much Raj Shamani and Prashant Pitti.
Raj every single session you host is so life uplifting buddy! Want to take a opportunity to thank you.. of a few business channels/ Business talk channels I always look forward your next episode.. Good Luck
I started business with my husband, made it big, now when its good, I was asked to leave, I nwver bothered what per cent I had, now I am told - go prove your per cent and get out as I had only 8% and now I think that I should have started my work alone to start with.
Hi Raj, I love your content however, I feel you should let the guest speak uninterrupted. These days you interrupt the speaker more often. It seems a bit annoying.
47:40 - When he said that you should not take yourself too seriously because you don't know what has taken you till here - it is 100% correct. A lot of these founders think they do and give a lot of pretentious talks.
I am watching this after uninstallng #UninstallMakeMyTrip twiter campaign....Prashant sir and his team's hardwork just paid off... !!! 19:57 - God be like :- Apne Jo 130 CR Refund covid mei diya ab uska 200+ guna wapis milega..
Based on the information available in the EaseMyTrip Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the pre-IPO shareholding of the founding brothers was as follows: Nishant Pitti: 44.29% ownership Rikant Pitti: 44.29% ownership Prashant Pitti: 2.13% ownership Prashant Pitti serves as the Executive Director of EaseMyTrip. He is responsible for managing the company's technology infrastructure and product development. Nishant Pitti, one of the co-founders of EaseMyTrip, has been involved in the production of multiple Bollywood movies. Some of these films include: Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) Dream Girl (2019) Chhalaang (2020) Malang (2020)
I don’t know that anyone would notice this or no but still feels to ask this question that, 1) what if a candidate tells you in a interview that he might considering other options and he needs time to think about the position, would you still give the chance or wait for the person? 2) what if he/she joins and didn’t like the workplace ambiance or anything and decided to quit, won’t that gives you a reason to destroy his or her professional reputation. According to you there should be a body which should be notified about people leaving the company and not staying committed but what happens when your boss is biased and decides to complain about a employee regardless of knowing there situation and it is very much possible in India, anyone can correct me if I am wrong anywhere. Thanks to anyone who read this far.
Good initiative Raj !! Very informative & encouraging session 👏👏. Convenience charge is really very discouraging & was a good point. Best wishes to "Ease my trip" 👍
Bogus, i booked my ticket through EasemyTrip and they are still coordinating with airline for the refund since May 2023. Its been 7 months. What they say v/s ground reality. Totally different !
Great podcast as always. Just one caveat, while I have immense respect for all the work Prashant has done, I really wish he wouldn’t paint a false image to make it seem like they were all struggling up until the IPO. Nishant, the other brother, has been a producer for many bollywood movies since 2015/16.
@rajshamani can you please let the guest talk?, I/we want to hear their experiences and their thought processes to understand how they got success not yours! please let us know their point of view clearly without getting disturbed with your points of views we are here for their answers to your & our questions not yours answers and your questions i may be little bit rude in explaining things above but believe me it will work a lot
Raj, I'm subscribing to your channel. I used to watching your podcast last few months and it's worth it your thought process is similar to mine. hope go forward I would like to see amazing content.
Returned a boat product ... they cancelled the warrant and not able to rectify the product , just shipped it back and there was no communication other than email , In which they give me the steps to claim the warranty ... customer should know what's the status even if it's a bad thing or specially if it's a bad situation.
1:04:58 a employee also faces after finishing 6 rounds rejected in 7 round is this fair or after receiving offer Letter No confirmation of date of joining
Oh I was shocked listing his achievements and how he made that company this big without any fundings from investor this is called a successful dhanda ( business) just show this video to a ashneer he clamied he made bharatpay best company and successful starts up with taking fundings from many investors and then there is this guy who made his startup this big without any funding at all and he hasn’t talked about it in medias and all this is called a true business quality without any talks in media silently working in it and getting this much sucess
@Raj: brother aap bahut achcha kaam kar rahe ho. Truly I just started watching your podcast. I wish I would have started little early. There are so many things to learn.
Had horrible experience with EMT now I stick to MMT and more recently Cleartrip.... Find Cleartrip the best in terms of value, options. Booked a ticket to Hanoi Vietnam on a flight that was never there. Land at airport and the boarding pass not issued by airline because no such flight exists. Ticket issued by EMT. Never received refund for a wrong ticket. So all this 130cr refund is nonsense.
