So true. At the very least he saved him from a permanent disability. Bruce Lee once took it all the way to the end on the same sort of arrogant guy. He wrecked the guy and his Brother later came after Bruce, saying "my brother talks funny, can't walk properly and is dumb now". "Bringing our family shame, and disrespect". Many a person has foolishly thought they could take on the real deal and it changed their life for the worse forever.

@@someonerandom6818 He is half-right. Untrained Mike Tyson would most likely break his hand trying to hit somebody on the chin with full force bare knuckles but bare knuckle fighters learn to punch in a different way, so they don't break their hands. If Tyson was a bare knuckle fighter, he would know how to punch without breaking his hand. Also where is this myth coming from that you punch harder without the gloves? It's not the case at all, if anything the weight and the surface area of the glove makes the impact of the force much harder on the opponents face. Gloves mainly exist because wrapped hands and bare knuckle boxing has a lot of stoppages due to cuts, fights are also alot shorter.

Quite the amount of glazing here, I love Iron Mike too with my entire heart but, Mike Tyson cannot win all the time, he took two losses to Holyfield (you don't fuck up twice) But while Tyson may not have won then, he did win in the long term as one of the most well known boxers even outside of boxing, whilst Holyfield you would have to be at least into boxing a little bit to know about him (DON'T GET IT TWISTED HE IS NOT A SMALL NAME) Mike's is just obviously bigger but I know one thing, Holyfield's got the heat to melt Iron. TL;DR: Tyson = lose to Holyfield twice, Holyfield not lose once, Holyfield better than Mike? I don't know you could say that but I'm pretty neutral on that, and I can confidently say Holyfield has the formula to bypass Mike down.

Mike Tyson is the greatest boxer of time. The "experts" disputes this, but Mike as an 18 year old he was tremendous until he was 35 . So fantastic,. Love you Mike for your courage and a new way of looking at boxing. Just fearsome, glad it wasn't me stepping into the ring against Mike Tyson.👍👍

out of all the people mike's fought and beat, this was probably the most ... satisfying? cathartic?? Like, as a boxer or any pro-fighter, you probably expect to beat people at some point, that just comes with the territory. But to have a chance to whoop on someone who made your life hell in front of pretty much the entire world? I could only imagine. Like Mike in his prime was already a feared and respected fighter, and still is now. He was always going to give it his all in the ring, but when it's personal and there's a very real beef between him and his opponent, I imagine he put just a little bit more oomph into that punch.

That’s great context I wasn’t aware he was a sparring partner to Mike previously who went in on him when he was 16. So Mike redeemed himself. Nice 👊🏾

guy wasn't ready in any capacity, probably because he thought he knew the fighter - it's not about what happened it's about what didn't happen 'defend yourself at all times' is not a suggestion
