Watching this again, you can see how Wyatt is a bit shy as he approaches. But as the interaction goes on, Wyatt opens up and gets more comfortable, and I missed it the first time, but the smile that Wyatt cracked when you gave him those cards is what made the interaction so wholesome. Him coming back to show you his completed set just goes to show how much he appreciated your kindness. This is how people fall in love with Pokemon. This is the best. Makes your day and puts a smile on your face.

Back in the 90s there was a comic book store on the south east side of Chicago, i was always a chubby kid with not much friends and it was a rough part of the world even then. It was the only comic store ever in my life that was actually close to my home. The ownet was like you and gave me my first pokemon cards. Forever aparked my love for the series and collecting in general.the store close not long after that and none ever opened around there again. But those memories man. I shed a tear. God has blessed you and blesses others through you. Thanks for being a vessel for good man

I imagine myself being that kid. How I would be super nervous to ask the stranger about his collection and if he has my card and trying to negotiate a price with him. And then he gives it to me for free! That's how you make core memories. That's what Pokemon was always about. It's nice to see this in this new "era" where we are seeing kids out there wheeling and dealing cards and making fun of other poor kids who can't afford the cool cards anymore. It isn't like it used to be. Stuff is EXPENSIVE. This will hopefully keep his joy of Pokemon going for another few more years.
