Speaking of the back up vocals...I love the part during the fight scene when it gets more intense and violent - there's a cool bass riff and the background vocals do this awesome "Ah ahh..." & the groove changes to a 1/2 time feel...genius!!

Dimash can with everything !!!! He honors Michael Jackson and Jackie Chan, his idols since he was a child. His taekwondo practice (red belt) allowed him to make the fight scenes very believable. We are waiting for the continuation of the video clip.
Love this video! The rap is in Kazakh - I don’t think Dimash feels comfortable enough in English to rap in it - and to my ears, it sounds better in that language, anyway!
Dimash can do it all. He loves all genres of music and likes to surprise his DEARS with something new and unexpected. I'm glad you liked the fight scenes when Dimash was rapping. He has a red belt in Tae Kwando and I know he really like the idea of the action scenes. He did a really great job too. I'm ready to watch movies with Dimash as 007!

I like how the rapping part (in Kazakh language) complements the fight scene. Good recommendations. I would add the music video "Qairan Elim"--he co-directed that one. And maybe "Qaragym ai" for emotional content--he sang it as a memorial for his teacher, the composer of the song, who died of CoVid. Maybe even his new release "River of Love"--an instrumental--he plays the dombra, Renat Gaissin (the composer) plays the keyboard.

Don't make the mistake of getting all caught up with his recent releases. You will be far better served to catch his growth by focusing first on his earlier material. Mix in an occasional new release, but build your background for the most part. He has also re-released new versions of some of his best, but will be truly meaningful only if you hear the earlier version first. A great example of this is "Samaltau". Watch the Tokyo Jazz Fest version first. Believe me, you have just begun to touch the variety of genres Dimash performs and ALL are outstanding.

Hey Mo - I knew you'd love this, great reaction bro!! One Dear called it "genius disguised as mainstream", I love that! I could write a REALLY long comment & point out all the places with touches of genius, but my neck hurts too much right now! One place: during the fight scene, when it gets more intense and violent, there's a cool bass riff and the background vocals do this awesome "Ah ahh...", then the groove changes to a 1/2 time feel - almost a slo-mo effect. There are these weird, off-time strings "stabs", giving it a darker, more chaotic feel. The Kazakh rap also becomes more short (staccato) and severe sounding. Just one example of genius, the whole thing is filled with it! Also, Dimash is playing a cocky character who's almost the opposite of his own respectful, humble attitude - but he's so great at it! 😎😉

today is march 9th ,2023.. i stumbled across your reaction of dimash while watching other reactors of dimash... ive only found 4 videos of yours of which you have reacted to him. they are all from last year... my question is if you enjoyed listening to him why aren't there more of his songs and newer reactions... i love listening to him... i know you are busy but please review more of his songs... i would love to see him become more popular in usa.... he deserves to be heard by everyone...

I do hope that u haven't been I'll or no major upsets. We need more infusion of reactors to experience people like dimash who just in it for his love of music and his commitment to get his voice or message about love and understanding of different people nations and culture. I'm not a racist neither is he. Only barriers here is language. He tries to communicate in different languages so he can understand what people are trying to to say . Miscommunication and people with preconceived ideas about other cultures that's the issue. Dimash is trying his best to break these barriers for peace. This video almost seems like the style of Michael Jackson, who happens to be one of Dimashs' favorite singers. He once made a statement during an interview that he sometimes feels as if Michael Jackson is on the stage with him.
Rapping is fairly new for Dimash, but I'm not surprised. He studied both classical and contemporary and tries to blend both in his music. Michael Jackson was one of his idols, so you can def hear the influence in this song. What's truly amazing is that he's still at the beginnings of his career.
