Speaking as a layman bystander it seems to me that the challenger was relying on cold technique alone as if he had been forced to learn piano whereas the joy, passion and enthusiasm of Camden for playing music was apparent to me even just the way your fingers fly and dance over the keyboard is a joy to watch. Great concert halls of the world beckon.............................

He also feels like he's trying to play fast on purpose, rather than playing music that just happens to be fast. Some of the notes are too fast to sound correct, like they're cut short or tripping over each other.

This is what I know. I know the dates they said no to. Their music teacher at times made those lads need more practice. Have U done ur homework u have to past this exam so u can get into so and so collage. About 2 hours sleep. U still here the notes in ur sleep. That's a lot of sacrificing, tome and money. Most young folk don't even like classical music, ppl don't net pick if a note or two is off. Be positive! Were’s the LOVE 💕 Congratulations guys u are passing down history! Thank U.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being "robotic" in the execution of the literatures/ sheet music. If the composer of the piece wanted to evoke certain emotions, they'd design it to do so with different dynamics and tempos/ styles. U don't really have to "add" emotion. Idk, maybe these are just mad ramblings but that's what I think/ was taught

@@Loading-lg6hs yeah, mostly ramblings. Anybody with any sense can see that being robotic isn't the best way to go. Maybe the composer is like the Asian guy and couldn't portray emotions. Camden was much smoother, seemed to play easier than the other guy and didn't mess up once.

Camden's felt more compassionate, smooth and very sensitive in touch to the listener's ear. Both are fantastic pianists. Camden's playing has an emotional conversation with you.

Your challenger could definitely benefit from practicing more with a Metronome, his tempo was all over the place. I love your play style, it's always nice to see musicians who play with passion and dynamics, not just speed.

God has blessed both of them with talent. It's not unusual for people to be better and/or more gifted in an area than others. Learning piano is hard and takes a lot of practice and dedication, not just anyone can do it. They were both great and it was nice to see somthing positive. Good for him challenging, some people let nerves and fear get in the way of sharing their gifts.
