this steam inventory holds over $1mil in csgo skins... i called a friend of this steam account and checked what's up discussing csgo skins: / ohnepixel
It was an honor for me to enlighten you and your viewers about Marcel's account :D Now after hearing the steam voice chat quality, I definitely should have installed discord to speak with you :P
@@SphereOfStreaming lmao he wouldnt get 10k for a banned account. 10k to open capsules and see whats inside and not be able to do anything with them? he'd get 1k if he was lucky
@@walter2440 no. he'd for sure easily get 10k. think of the content you can make out of that, and people would pay 10k Just to OWN the account itself and use for HVH.
@@Leaptab And what Erty is saying, is that at least they would be available for other players to use, after he had sold them. Instead nobody will ever get to use them.
@@wazbero6579 DutBud is referring to money, there is no talk about availability to the market. So Erty can only be referring to the individual who has these capsule locked out.
yeah, $0.40 per capsule doesn't faze anoyone, if you lose it you lose it, you're losing lunch money basically, because nobody could predict a 35,000x gain from digital stickers in a game nobody at the time cared about.
It's actually really common. On my first steam account I have a kato 14 challengers capsule. Got it vac banned in early 2015 when I used a skin changer to test a dragon lore.
I mean, i wish horrible things on cheaters all the time. But this goes beyond my wildest dreams. Only a supreme overlord god like Gaben could make something like this happen :D Talking about cheater karma
@@saucyaugust3079 If he didnt have the ban, he would most definetely sold the capsules earlier and still "lost" a lot of money. So its not really about the value, but more of the feeling of having fucked up big time.
i also have a dude in my Friendslist that owns a lot these capsules and some decent High Value Skins and crafts. First met him during Operation Bloodhound and we started queueing MM daily. his inventory isnt listed and private and he sadly passed away in mid 2016. i tried to contact his Parents but they sold the setup and dont have any way of getting there hands onto the steam account.. would have loved to help them with selling it and that was in 2017. really wanna give it a try again with support.
If he was old enough to have a payment method and billing address you could probably contact steam support again. Might be a dumb idea but his parents should try to hand them over a death certificate in order to hand out the login data.
crazy how we remember when these came out and now these things are worth millions, as a kid at 15 i had 10k in csgo skins and didnt even realize how much money that was
I quit CS around 2016/17 when PC broke, cashed out most of it and gambled away the rest.. When I sold market was starting to crash, gut/flip knives were around 40USD, had around 70 knives, Very low fv BS Dragon Lore, MW Medusa, FT Stattrak Fire serpent, MW Akihabara Accept, Kara Sapphire, Black Pearl, Flip Ruby.. At the time it was around 50k I cashed, was 17/18 and blew it all, if I had just held onto it I'd have a deposit for a house and plenty to invest.. So hard not to think about daily
one of the main things which make the price so big is availability of item. If he would add to the market 60 more pieces of item existing in 160 overall amount, the price would drop like half down.
@@seanbailey8545 i did understand him very well, and he said that he might ask valve to unban so he could sell his inventory. And if so, the amount of overall items would be still the same, but amount of items on market would be much bigger - so for real he doesnt have "million worth items on banned account" but more like 100k worth
@@kaka123150 Yeah, but he doesn't have to put them all on the market at once. He could just saturate the market with 3-4 of them at a time, then the price would not really move; and might actually go up.
@@xesxxx it will go up for sure since yes people are still opening them like trainwrecks so if he sold one per week or sell them all at once the market will go down yes but not for him since he will already have sold them or it can even go up since it will get more attention and some will probably one want before they are gone csgo skins market is really weirds and work very differently then crypto or stock
@@kaka123150 Capsules is a transparent item (it contains expensive items). it is not reusable hence the market value will not go down since its in super high demand. imagine selling a spin wheel that generate money.
Imagine speaking english and try to figure what they are saying in german, now imagine if I speak español y trato de entender el inglés y luego ese aleman xD
@@iwnl_vale As a German learner I can confirm this is so fucking true man :( Even if I can pick out a good handful of words, it's still almost never close to enough to get the entire idea of a big sentence.
Don’t know why I’m typing this here maybe because I want some comfort from people but I just got scammed of my knife for the second time this month and I’m thinking of quitting from this game and playing valorant from now on
xd account is vac banned :D in CSGO after 2777 days any VAC ban gonna invisible for public , but when he is log in to account, he see it's vac banned :)
How was that bad? Literally no other transactions were made using Bitcoin before then. It is likely that if he had not bought those two pizzas there wouldn't have been a bitcoin boom in the first place.
the fact that people still think that these capsules are long gone... when there's a ton of accounts that have their inventories private and the owners just wait for them to go even higher in price, and then making their inventories public.
We make a lot of mistakes in life, having something like that stick with you is like an almost perfect punishment. But someone like that doesn't deserve to be so constantly sad, hopefully he is loved by friends and family. The least anyone can offer him is a hug. Now, it won't be a hug worth a million dollars, that's for sure, but you can't put a price on love. Hopefully he accepts this now.
I have one of those anchors holding me down. In 2016 I spent around $200 on some playskins and was subsequently scammed, I was an idiot kid. Now the items I lost are collectively worth like $600. its not much but i constantly think about how i was manipulated. the scammer was banned and whatnot, but it still doesn’t sit right with me. i miss my items. it was birthday money. whoever scammed me is an absolute asshat.
he should try to get the job in valve :D (if only as some delivery boy for starters) and after he climbs up a bit higher in company ladder try to unban himself just for a day or two and sell everything .
I would just find a steam customer and pay him like 100k out of the 1mil just to get me unbanned and sell all the skins once u get the money u pay the customer
One of those Ancors I have is I was seriously considering buying a lot of Bitcoin somewhere around 2009-2011 when it was nothing. Just for the luls and because it sounded interesting. Didn't do it because I was too young to buy and the effort to get them over a family member was too big. I had around 1k in € ready to buy..... I would have probably already sold when it hit 5k or 10k the first time but god damn would I be living differently today.
I would try to appeal after like 10 years. I mean, I was moderating a lot on Minecraft servers and I learnt that people can change and that after some time, if the person seems geniune it's all good. For real tho, in 10 years anyone can change by a lot...!
he could make a lot money with this account and im not talking about selling it. Like he could make the biggest opening stream in cs history 100k ppl would easily watch it or he makes 3-4 videos out of it easy atleast a few thousands with it
There is no way the ban could possibly stick. If you really lawyer up, valve needs to provide evidence beyond "automatic detection" etc., he is 10k away from getting a million
For free bc this isn't worth anything. Some trading site used to do giveaways with 1m dollars worth of skins for free bc the accounts were trade-banned bots.
@@SphereOfStreaming no way someone pays that much just to open a few capsules and do nothing with them XD thise gambling bots had some merit as they were only trade banned, you could actually use all the skins on them ingame, this account is vacbanned
We would have never held those anyways. But imagine how much money he can make with an unboxing event. Maybe some content creator would pay him to unbox them together for a nice clickbaitable video. An unboxing video nobody could ever afford but Marcel would still take the like 1000 bucks for his untradeable item unboxing on stream or something
i have had an event where i buy the loterry ticket every time i only buy the powerbowl ticekts when its 200 million and up and i play the same numbers every time, one time i didnt buy the ticket bc the monery was 189million and the exact numbers that i play everytime was up there i could have been a millionaire
My anchor around my feet comes from my grandad, he was a architect and drew something for Lego, and was offered procent in the company, or some Lego boxes, i think it was around 10 procent. And he chose lego boxes
came across a souvenir item on the steam market the other day, a tec-9 Toxic from the Boston 2018 major to be specific. cool part about is on play side it has a Stweie2K Gold, C9 gold, and the major sticker. i havent been able to find any other items with the same stickers on the market or with that kind of sticker craft. was wondering what the value would be seeing as C9 won the major plus those stickers are pretty expensive on the market. and yes i bough the item
Pro players are way different than a normal player lmao. You need connections and to show you've changed, a normal player would just be ignored unless their was some massive petition for unban by tens of thousands of people on reddit or something.
Bro I would do my best to get a job at Valve and unban my account secretly, doesn't matter how much time I would need to spend to do so, it would be worth it in the end for sure
hear me out. find dirty contacts in valve and get his account unbanned and offload them quick and pay the guy 10-25% theres always someone who will do it for money
first i felt bad for him but... the time that the people lost that had to play against him knowing they will loose is lost. he took their time for ever. time is not buyable.
I've played Competitive MM against some users with vac bans from 1yr to 4yrs old... and a friend was wrongly vac banned and as you say talked to support (SEVERAL times) and got it lifted.
didn't valve say they would make vac's temporary bcoz of the finnish pro lawsuit? (indirect connection) I wonder if it also affects so they can again trade :D
Yes and there is something called adequacy. A thief shoudnt get the death penalty. This guy shoudnt be missing out on a life change because of a little bit online video game cheating 10 years ago.
