Ive read the manga and am starting the LN and this is a good story imo

The novel is brilliant

This is a pretty good summary of the show so far. The only constructive criticism I'd give is to try to keep it more in chronological order. The bit from 5:57-6:25 should have been cut or moved to later in the video where it would have fallen into place on that timeline. I get that you're telling the synopsis in the same order it was told in the show itself, but having that brief time skip in the episode was to keep the action scenes coming. Since this is a shortened summary of the story, I think the pacing in THIS video doesn't NEED to have another fight scene so quickly after the one we just had where he assaulted the kidnappers with the crowbars - especially at the expense of confusing the viewer by then having a flashback to him being a baby immediately after his reincarnation. Overall though, you seem to hit all the major plot points so far and did a really good job in getting people who haven't seen the show yet to understand what it's about so they can decide if this is something they'd like to watch.

Damn it tooke me a whole 5 minutes to figure out this guy was Lord Shadow from Shadow Garden thats how good he is at being a side character. Other than that, the manga showed him trying to become the strongest side chara and him ending up jacked like the incredible hulk from marvel, then becoming skinny as he tried to master magic in a world without magic, which was why he jumped in front of a truck after hearing about the legendary truck-kun

Its definitely cliche but the author is having fun with it and you can tell he's not taking it super seriously

I thought this anime was complete for the first 12 episodes of me watching it since this was a summary of it, but apparently not. I'm very glad it's still ongoing, since 15 episodes was definitely not enough. Also, the manga's apparently even funnier with more gags.

Y'know, they're extremely lucky Cid wants so badly to stay in the background. Otherwise, he would have used his status and his family to go after the investigators. Torturing a noble? Biiiig no-no. Trying to force a confession from him? Well, that's just effortlessly turned into evidence that the investigators are part of the kidnapping and trying to make a scapegoat. There is just no way for it to have been anything but disastrous for them. Their sole saving grace was that Cid wanted to stay subtle. That said, his family not taking action, despite just being a barony, was probably the writer dropping the ball. And most of the nobility in general would have supported them against such a precedent being set that could be used against them, too. That said, I think it is due to how Japanese law enforcement works. It has nothing to do with enforcing law and exists solely to give the public the impression of social harmony. Japanese law enforcement uses torturing confessions out of people and treat confessions as holy grails of trials and basically automatic guilty sentences. This is because guilt and innocence is irrelevant to Japan's legal system outside of violent crimes, unless a foreigner is in the vicinity to use as a scapegoat for the sake of encouraging xenophobia to strengthen the Japanese sense of ethnic unity. There is no Law and Justice in Japan. Only Law and Order. If they can't find a foreigner to punish regardless of any evidence and they can't figure out who is guilty of a crime, they'll _make_ someone guilty. Partly to encourage the public to trust the law and judicial system (and give criminals the impression that they'll never escape law enforcement) and partly due to the cultural terror of embarrassment. Anyway, my point is that the arrest and interrogation of Cid is basically how Japanese law enforcement works. Though, they don't beat people when interrogating them. They use starvation, dehydration, sleep-depravation, and multiple people constantly shouting at them together as one whole unit to torture people into signing confessions. Though, like I said that is really only when either trying to set up a foreigner to take the fall even when video proof shows they're innocent, or when they can't find enough evidence for someone to be proven guilty so they just decide to take matters into their own hand to avoid embarrassment and what they imagine would be loss of public trust in them. This is what happens when a culture treats pride as one of the most vital virtues instead of the grave sin it is.

The Story started out really good but got really stupid later on. The mc so delusional about wanting to be a cool hidden boss that he watch people he knows and care about get hurt first before he come to rescue them just to be extra cool.
