Welcome to the original lead singer Bon Scott. The one and only never to be repeated!!!! Totally the best!!!! Yes I know some purist’s will say that Dave Evans was the first singer but he lasted about as long as a cup of coffee!!!!!! For a reason!!!!!! Bon is the man!!!!! He helped write sooooo many great songs with Angus and Malcom and his penmanship was outstanding!!!!! His showman ship as you just experienced is off the charts!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!😎🍸
@@timmcgrath676 to me both Bon and Brian is very good and I dont make any difference between them, both voices fits acdc's music. I like them both. I agree Dave dosent really matter in the sense of being a singer for acdc, he is just the original but did not fit for acdc.
Bon Scott was AC/DC's greatest singer , song writer and performer. I don't think anyone came close to this era of this band !! Bon Scott also told his mother that he had written the lyrics to the Back in Black album. His family receive royalties for Back in Black still to this day. Brian Johnson did a great job singing but for a bloke who was never a song writer (and didn't write anything from 1988 on). Bon died in 1980 and the 2nd highest selling album behind Thriller is released within 3 months of Bon's passing? NO WAY!! Listen to the lyrics of Bon Scott from 1974 to the Back in Black album then listen to the lyrics that followed on the following albums. The Young brothers wrote the album The Razor's Edge. A new album came out about evert 5 years after that. Bon Scott wrote 6 albums in 5 years and made AC/DC. Kind regards
This song will cure ALL that ails you. This singer is Bon Scott, the original singer who died tragically in Feb 1980. The current singer, Brian Johnson, then took over and has been with them ever since. In my opinion this line up (with Bon) is the best and their performances pre 1980 are always high energy and killer. Great reaction and I hope you're feeling better soon.
Another classic performance is Let There Be Rock from the same concert as this, Live in Glasgow. This one opened the show and Let There Be Rock closed it. Absolute fire.
@@shaundgb7367 Presume It's his Senior school when he started the guitar. Imagine the scene, straight home from school, on the guitar for hours without getting washed or changed. He must driven his parents mad lol. :)
This track is from the live Album "If you want Blood" released in 1978 and given to me by my Uncle as my first Album in 1983 when I was 13 on Vinyl. Still have the Album on my phone today.
❤My #1 band❤ How I'm feeling.😂 You got my subscription on this one. Riff Raff..😅Love when Mal and Angus would duel it out, however Mal was the Riff Master Rhythm of the band. RIP😢Mal. This in my opinion is Malcolm's best one.
Well done. Their roots as you may know, was listening to the old blues greats from the few records they had, and, learning from that. Mostly self taught.
This is of the live album if you want blood, recorded in Glasgow Scotland where Angus and his brother Malcom rhythm player were born. The singer Bon Scot was also Scottish: If you wish to see more or Angus playing the song jailbreak live at donighton is well worth checking out ❤️🏴
Try the tune Bad Boy Boogie at the Apollo Theater in Glasgow April 1978 live performance or the tune Let There Be Rock from the same show. Angus and the boys will blow your mind!!!! Also the original lead singer Bon Scott is the front man. Also feel free to pull up the lyrics so you understand what they are singing about. Hearing any band’s songs for the first time can be difficult and there is no shame in in that!!!! I think it helps the experience!!!! Just saying!!!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!😎🍸

@@SWTSU Hahaha you are trying to educate me on the history of the band that's hilarious.I'm from Oz and have been a fan of them before their first album release.
@@robertperry5832 Dude I’m not trying to teach anyone anything!!!!! I’m 63 years old and was also around at the very beginning as well. Dave was a decent bass player but he wasn’t a very good lead singer or song writer and the lads knew it. He was ok to start the band out but he wasn’t going to take them to the heights Malcom and George knew they could reach and they were right. I didn’t kick him out of the band they did!!!!! Don’t blame me just because you liked him. Bands evolve and his time was very limited. That’s all I’m saying. I believe they totally made the right decision to jettison him for Bon. Just my opinion hombre like it or not!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😎🍸
@@SWTSU Dave wasn't the bassist and lead singer that tells me you don't know what you are talking about.63 you unless you are from Australia or New Zealand there's no way you would have even heard of them as they hadn't released a album over sea or left Australia at that early in their career.
lol i just visited the memorial statue to bon today on my way home from aberdeen . when i got home i started playing al the old albums i have yes i said albums thats how old i am i played all of them from high voltage to let there be rock but my fave ever track has to be if you want blood live .
it needs to be said...... although Malcolm was "rhythm guitar", and perhaps the best ever rhythmist? Malcolm also "assisted" Angus during "tuff" lead and solos. not taking away any of Angus' greatness. but "the band" drove Mal'. it was his child. legends they became and still are!!!!! rip Mal' and Bon.
He is 157cm tall so just a tad over 5 foot one. But he is tiny as well . Probably only weighs 55 -58 kilos 135 pounds. I'm a short guy as well at 5 foot 5 but Im 78kg ( 175 pounds ) an SG still looks big on me but looking at him he makes up for his size with the energy he puts out { or did } Dude was and is the living energizer bunny. Total legend.
I like Bon Scott AC/DC more than I do the Brian Johnson stuff....other than Back in Black. I love the blues vibe that old AC/DC with Bon Scott has.......dont get me wrong, I still love AC/DC.......but damn this old stuff just rocks.
