@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz To be fair his year in Seattle wasn’t as impressive (besides RBIs) compared to previous seasons. 211 strikeouts, only a .305 OBP, .435 SLG, .741 OPS, and a 106 OPS+. Seattle thought they were getting something different than what he produced.
The Toronto Blue Jays traded Teo to the Mariners for a SP prospect and Erik Swanson. I know that 'hate' is a strong word, but I really, really, hate Ross Atkins.
In this series, I’d argue Teo was better than anyone. But even with his recent slump, Ohtani is currently batting .310, which is still quite impressive.
