At first I was not a fan of the first person view, but you are totally right, it would just be compared to Uncharted or Tomb Raider, which funny enough is Indy who inspired those games. Still very excited for the game and cannot wait to play it later this year. Good reaction Dits, keep them coming
If it wasn’t Machine Games doing this, I’d be more concerned. They also did Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay which is an absolute gem of a game from the first person. At least this way, it should be able to stand on its own! Thanks matey, appreciate it 👊🏻
It's Troy Baker who is doing an absolute dead-on impression of a young harrison ford here. He did the voice for Joel from The Last Of Us as well as other games. He's not A.I. , that's for sure. :)
You should have reacted to the developer direct segment. Since you didn't you need to watch it so you get the info such as how cutscenes.. As well as traversal will be in 3rd person.
Im soooooo looking forward to this game. Cant wait to find all those Indiana Jobes easter eggs ingame. Machine Games also rocks at first person games. Like you said, these devs while working at Starbreeze, another Swedish game studio made the Riddick games and also The Darkness (check that out) left 2009 abd started Machine Games. Im hyped! 🎉
YES! It was only after I did this video that I found out about Riddick. Such a forgotten gem. And The Darkness is another one as well, loved both games. I think it’s safe to say that Indy is in good hands 💪🏻
I love Indiana Jones and Troy Baker. I can’t wait for this. I played my first Indiana Jones game in 1989. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusader based on the movie of course. I’m not a fan of first person games but I guess I get the hang of it. I love your reaction btw. It was worth a sub 🤠
I cant wait to get it so excited for it but im worried itll get delayed a year or possibly near the end of this year you know how things go. Fingers crossed its released sooner rather than later.
I know you can’t always base things off of a trailer, especially when it’s the first we’ve seen. But it looks like it’s pretty much ready to go. I still reckon it’ll drop around August
I can only hope its got good sections to actually learn something about the artifacts and history...along with some of the more mystical goodness the trilogy has.
