But he was kidnapped and Had no choice but to give him some and survive but cissy killed him and she became a hero and saved everyone. Tho I did think she made a mistake. Teddys ego and underestimation of how Franklin was actually smarter than him , led to his demise. He didn’t respect Franklin. And underestimating an opponent is a crucial error and an easy way to make mistakes . One that Teddy realized to late . He misplayed his hand with Franklin and never recovered from that mistake

Then he ran through his spot and tried to expose the CIA. He took Franklin on a ride off duty saying he was going to burn him to ground after he got his daughter out of town. That wasn't a devil, that was survival. That's the game. Andre knew too much and got way too aggressive and kept testing Franklin.

What father in their right mind wouldn't intervene, knowing your daughter is dating one of the biggest dope dealers. 3. Andre was a cop. He still had a duty to protect and serve. He tried to talk sense into Franklin out of respect of their relationship, but he didn't listen, so things got ugly. Franklin was a terrible person

For all intents, Teddy was the boogeyman. Franklin wanted a way out, he got it by losing the money and if he had not alienated monique, the situation could have been salvaged.
If I had ever told my Cissy Saint (my late mother) that Teddy had taken $73 million I had stashed in offshore banks, she would have looked at me like I was crazy and asked me why I put that kind of dirty money in banks, which left a criminal paper trail and left me without legal recourse if something ever happened to my money. Franklin basically lost his money from being naive. Teddy was always kind of grimy and *CIA* and therefore suspect.
