I love that he changed his name to John. People converting to Islam often change their names to an Arabic name. His new name represents a new heart, new mind, new life being born again in Christ. Amen !

This is an interesting update in my spiritual journey. I was born in muslim family. My muslim parents gave me name Ivan. I once asked about its meaning but they just thought that it was just a nice name. After accepting Christ I searched myself. Ivan is slavic transliteration of Johanes, John. The truth is I am John, always have been. John 3:16 is like there to fulfill the 'prophecy' from my name.

The man's accent sound very European. Notice how dark are the faces of the muslims when they follow Muhammad, but when they become followers of Christ suddenly their faces shine with the uncreated light of Christ
I do see a difference, but it might just be that he gets darker the more he's out in the sun??😅 I worked at a tanning bed salon eons ago, and a light skinned black lady would visit every week. She wanted to be darker, and it was pretty amazing the change from 1 visit. Either way, I'm so happy for John. 🎉

It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century. According to historical documents, the Khuzaa’h tribe from Yemen built Mecca in the 4th century AD [Al-Azraqi, Kitab Akhbar Makka, Vol. 1, p. 6]. The king Abu Karb Asa’d led this, who reigned over Yemen in 410-435 A.D, built the Kaaba similar to the Kaaba found in Yemen [A. Jamme. W. F, Sabean Inscriptions from Mehram Bilqis (Ma’rib), the John Hopkins Press, Baltimore, 1962, vol. III, p. 387].
