I just made my first purchase from The Bunker and you have assembled an amazing staff that will make it a success. Bunker “had my back” from the time the order was placed. Acknowledged purchase immediately, notified expected shipping date, notified when shipped, notified when expected delivery, and even notified package was in mailbox. Raised on a chicken farm in Canada, and had about 20,000 chickens, so am not tired of hearing you talk about your chickens or the coop you built. Get some good mylar sheets and some thin Styrofoam sheets, glue them together with some spray on 3m adhesive and staple them actress the ceilings to help keep the heat off the chickens in the summer and hold the heat in during the winter. Did that for my mom's coop and it made a huge difference. She had a couple die from heat in the summer from the roof making too much heat. Solved that problem with the mylar and styrofoam.

You may want to install a reptile nighttime heat lamp inside your coop. We had ours on a timer to come on at the hour the sun set every evening. It kept the inside a cozy 50ish degrees during the winter in ABQ, NM when it would drop into the teens.

Hello from Kentucky. I have a farm with chickens, ducks, geese, and a bunch of rescue cats. We get a little more cold/wet weather. You are doing a great job filling in the holes. Only thing I would change is the roost. I know it is harder to clean but I would make it wider. The reason I say that is because if a chicken can lay flat on it's feet they won't get frost bite. When it does get colder my chickens will sleep on top of each other. Your outside run for them is great I would just make places for the to hide under in case of hawks. Another thing for you to think about if you got a Rooster they will protect your hens. Keep up the good work and keep posting videos.
