This is why U.S. is still one of the best countries in the world, because instead of disposing of an elderly person, like people are doing in other countries and I can give fascinating details about it because it so happen that i know a lot, you are choosing the hard way, the way of restoration, bringing help and joy to another human being ! This is maturity and responsibility, showing true spiritual progress of humanity ❤❤❤ well done blessed hearts
@@rodicapepescu4599This is one man of the millions that do not get help. Let’s not pretend america is this utopia where neighbor always helps neighbor and we never dispose of the elderly. It simply isn’t true
Too bad half of America, could care less, what happens to veterans and families that have been citizens for over 100 years!!! Now it's get your asses outta here and let all the immigrants take over🤔🤨
AMEN! Mr. Roger's, IT IS "OUR TURN", 2 HELP YOU, Sir. THANK YOU for SERVING, Sir, BLESS YOU!! WELCOME "HOME", may our CREATOR "BLESS YOU, Continually!" ❤you, Sir!
My mother died in 2000. I moved back in with my dad in 2009 because he was becoming the same exact way as this man. And I wouldn't have changed those last 8 years with him for anything... They don't ask for help... they feel very proud...especially the men...so, if you have a neighbor like this please go check on them ❤
Meanwhile other elders robbing us blind all throughout the economy... take care of your deserving elders not all elders, because they are already helping themselves to free equity all over the place
Thank you for your service Sir.. job well done community. We all need some kindness, love ,and support ❤ just a friendly reminder to do something nice for a stranger today ❤ on purpose
BS! Keep your dishonesty! I've been a disabled veteran since 1981. I have lived in a car for 30 years, but now I have no license. I cannot stand or walk, but they do not give wheelchairs to the homeless. "Each and every time that humans speak, our thoughts are simultaneously BROADCAST in a much richer way than can be fit into words." No belief included, I simply remember before being taught verbal language, mama and dada. Learn the language of our newborns and you learn to care about each other just as you care about yourselves. Nobody is going to help me, so keep your false hope & dishonesty. The end
@@toowiseforyou you know there's many organizations, groups, shelters, etc, you can get help from them, instead of being lazy and assuming no one is going to help you or they'll come to you, just go on the Internet, something! Just sitting and waiting is NOT the answer
God doesn’t care because you don’t care as a country. Nice to see folks do the right thing but this “thanks for your service “ crap doesn’t feed the cat. It’s embarrassing .
I wish to GOD I could be there to help 🙏🏾💖 you don't owe us anything 😊 we owe you for your services and the protection you help to provide for US🙏🏾💖🙏🏾💖

@@MyPersonalBrandyoure exactly right! We need to stop letting the government devide us and stand together like this. We deserve better then weve been getting, with our government taking our money and working against us as well as deviding us.. God Bless Our People!
HIS VOICE SAYS IT ALL.. WITH A GRATEFUL HEART N A HUMBLE SPIRIT HE ACCEPTED A GOD GIVEN COMMUNITY TO HELP A NEIGHBOR. GOOD GODLY SPIRIT SAVED HIS LIFE.
That is correct he has trauma and our vets deserve to be cared for. They suffer all the time. Every vet I know of has post traumatic stress Dis. No lies they are the best of this country.
@@ricardorascon88trying not to add another WW to hurt more Vets... That's why... As a fellow vet I understand that!!! Sometimes vets wont ask for help... That is why communities need to reach out too and sometimes prime the pump. ....smile
@@sr-kt9ml Unfortunately, you have to be a Veteran for anyone to care. I've never seen one of these stories where the person wasn't either a Vet or handicapped. In my case, it is my neighbors (a local crime family that wants monthly payment for "protection insurance" and their family associates) who are either doing the vandalism, or they are pointedly ignoring it not wanting any responsibilities. This is the more accurate and prevalent picture in and of America today.
Exactly!! I'm a 72 yr old female with severe RA. There's no way anyone from my community, nearby churches, or govt that gives a shit if I live or die, since I moved to the city from my 5 acres completely wooded lot except for home and shop in the country part of Ohio near Amish area due to my health only 4 years ago. Although I did have a 3 yr work visa to work as a civilian for the USAF in W Berlin Germany starting in 1971. But since I was a civilian I don't count as a vet, but all the guys I worked alongside got all those benefits and actually did less than I did except for basic training since it was peacetime, Vietnam was over by then. 😮
@candace3124 I am not a vet. At 65, I find myself alone. It's ok...life has different roads for all of us. I am still working, but have had health issues more and more. I want to retire and I feel more than ready physically to retire. I am not going to live large as a retired woman (IF I can even get there. In the last couple of years, I've had 3 fairly bad falls, 3 surgeries and now l am starting to have much more pain in my hands, knees and back. I have sciatica and RA, still trying to regain, strength, energy, balance and such in my recovery from all the physical things so as to continue to be self-sufficient. I do have some family, but my aunt is in a nursing home, my brother lives in Alabama and I in Kansas. He stills work, but he and his wife are not young. My oldest son and family live on the West Coast and my younger son and his family live less than a mile away and a from me. He works. She stays home, but during the school year she home schools 5 out of their 7 children. They also have 3 foster kids (her younger brothers). Their children range from a 4 month up to a 12 year old. They also foster her 3 younger brothers (13 years, 15 and 17 years in age. Her mother went to prison when my daughter-in-law was young so she lived with her grandma who raised her until the girl was in her mid teens. Then grandma got a boyfriend and left her alone a lot. She stayed at her friends' homes a lot to finish growing up and graduate high school. She doesn't want that fate to befall her little brothers. Therefore the boys will live with them until they leave the home, as kids do. I get how difficult it must be. My son, his wife and family are busy with their church twice on Sunday, church also Wednesday night. Mom has Women's Bible Study on Thursdays mornings until noon. They are busy with Church Camp, Vacation Bible School. Saturday mornings men have breakfast and Bible Study and they take turns cooking the breakfasts for the other men and themselves. They don't have much time that they can help me. They do mow my yard in the summers. Their two oldest are girls and both play volleyball in the summers. As a retired Spanish teacher I give them Spanish classes each week. The two girls also take piano lessons and soon the boys (their next two oldest) will likely get involved in sports or something as well. I understand they are busy so I try not to ask for much help. People, including family members, don't realize how difficult it gets for some of our seniors to lift things , move, even have strength or energy to do what they would like to in cleaning and keeping their house up. It's also difficult to financially do everything. Even if you can't keep up with housekeeping, if you have the money you could hire someone, but most are like me and can't afford that either. However, it is something that more families should talk about for their aging parents or family members.
Our Veterans &/or Elders should NEVER feel they're a burden!! Thank u Mr. Roger for your service & for letting those fine citizens serve you. It's the least this country could do. 🌺🌺🌺
God bless you for your service so it’s time we give back to you. Thank you for allowing those men to clean up and work on fixing some areas that were prolly weak. Thank you for doing all you did
Thank you Michelle for Gathering the troops and helping this man. I hope now his neighbors will stop by and check on him and have a cup of coffee with him.
Thank you for your service, sir! My dad made 4 beachheads and taught his kids to “thank those vets”! You all and your families make tremendous sacrifices!!
@@maryjohammons8905 And same back to you and your Dad. I so appreciate what he did. I am grateful everyday that I live in a country where so many have the luxury of being complacent about FREEDOM because of the sacrifices of others. Unlike us. I know WE don't take it for granted🇺🇲❤️🕊.
So true! My husband and son have been helping an 84 year old vet for the past several years. They clean his house twice a week, maintain his yard weekly, run his errands and take him to Dr appointments. We even stop over on trash days to take his trash by out and bring his cans back in. He’s a great man who served our country for decades. It’s the least our family can do to say “thank you” for giving us the opportunity to even be able to do these things. ❤❤❤
There's a lot of retired folks that don't get checked on for weeks at a time. I used to be one of them, but I "adopted" two different young families to help them start a garden, help them get started with laying hens and helped one young husband to acquire a "boomstick" to scare predators away with. I grow and give away plants, bushes and berries. I'll be sharing from my garden again this year, Lord willing. Other neighbors are getting involved in donating what they have to those who need it. We're building community and that's a good thing. Bless the Lord...
@@cyavelle I'm very proactive in my city & volunteer my time every single day where I can. My group also includes supporting our locally owned brick & mortar businesses & smaller, independent businesses as well. I assist our city council, senior center, parks & rec dept., library, pd & our businesses by creating all of the artwork for their events & activities & teach our businesses how to get the most out of free advertising (all free of charge.) Instead of complaining online about all the negatives in this country & more specifically, my own city, I decided to get involved & started by volunteering as the 2022 campaign manager for one of our mayoral candidates. I filmed & created all of his online advertisement videos which, by the way, he won. It's both rewarding & beneficial when we invest our time giving back. Afterall, isn't that what defines a "community?!"

Dear Mr. Rogers, You risked your life protecting our Country's freedom and values; so please don't ever worry about "paying your neighbors back" we all owe you our admiration and thanks. ❤❤❤
Yes I agree, What a beautiful, gentle, sole.. If I had known and wasn't on the other side of the planet, I would have been more than happy to help..May I also thank you for your service to your country.
Mr. Alexander, you are no longer alone. This is a fine example of kindness shown to our fellow human beings. If we focussed on helping one another, the world would be a better place. Thank you to Michelle for helping him and getting the word out❣️❣️
Absolutely bawling!! Sir! You deserve it and there are people who love you, respect you and WANT to help. This country owes you so much. Thank you for your service! 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Thank you for noticing and being there for him and his neighbors are such a great bunch of people. You are all blessed and I m so proud of all of you. God bless you all
Aww, this is so beautiful!! I worked for the VA hospital for years, and there were many veterans who just needed a friendly smile and ear. Some of them sacrificed so so so much for our country, and it’s beautiful to see our country/people coming together for a soldier. God bless you, Mr. Roger and Thank You immensely for your service❤️🤍💙
Mr Roger, I hope someone shares our comments with you. You served our countrry and protected us , thank you. I am glad we your neighbors have shown you love and respevt and hopefully restored some of yoyr faith in humanity. To all of the volunteers thank you so very much, I am a veteran myself and you love warms my heart.
As a disabled veteran who got disabled after my service, I lost my disability because they said I made too much money at a part time job. I received a little over $12,500 a year in disability and made like $13000. Now they pay for the illegals and I am fighting to get my disability back! This is screwed up!! FJB bring back President Trump!!
@@rodfolds3524I wish Americans were able to vote on such decisions. If it were my way you wouldn't need a house payment, a need for much at all, things would cost very little to our service men and women. It wouldn't matter how much you make if disability happens to anyone in service especially they are granted the funds even if they choose to work. It just doesn't make sense to me why our service personnel have put their lives on the line for us and have kept us safe, but our country does very little in return. It isn't right.
Not just our vets our ELDERLY❤❤❤❤❤❤…. there are countries who look at the elderly as something sacred and something you cherish like babies, but we cherish babies and we are irritated by the elderly in America, and I just don’t know why, they are so fun and smart, and they have so much to say and so much to share they deserve love❤
As a Veteran, you have already paid dearly for the freedom that allowed the Country to help you.. You owe nothing Sir! I'm sure it was their Joy to be of service to you Sir... Thank you..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
