I met him in 2010 and used to see him a couple of times a week until shortly before he passed away. He was an amazing gentleman and i really liked him. We both had a love of horses. He owned a race horse breeding farm in Ocala and I have a show horse, we enjoyed showing pics of our horses. I saw him the day his mother passed away, he was heartbroken. He was really a sweet guy and loved singing. We lost a good man.
He had dementia that was brought on by alcoholism. That actually is a neurological problem brought on by alcoholism and the long-term chronic liver disease that it causes
Its is a shame. He was a very good actor with a great voice. His wives took him to the cleaners. Success can be a double edged sword, wondering if someone really loves you for yourself or your popularity and money. I remember being very excited every week watching the Partridge family show. He is very missed.

One wife took him to the cleaners, that would be Sue. On the other hand Kay tried to save him. The music industry,and bad people using him up. Bad investments Hw was broke at 24. But he came back to us Three times. The 70s,took a break,came back in the 80s. And bam the 90s. David completely blew me away.Dont know anyone else who did that. David had demons,so sad that he couldn't beat them. I will always CHERISH,and respect him Sue is the one that got in the way of David's relationship with Katie Sue was not good for David.
He couldn't have gotten any liver transplant. "Doctors advised the family Tuesday the only way David could survive was with a liver transplant, but he was not a candidate because he would never survive surgery. The family decided at around noon to remove life support."
He was an alcoholic. Doctors don't do transplants on alcoholics. Wasted liver as their other organs are destroyed by drinking and they won't quit. I wouldn't risk my life and my future health to give an alcoholic bad father half my liver for him to destroy it in a year.
I'm sorry but if someone has liver damage due to their alcohol abuse, no one is obligated to offer up a liver. Their messed up liver is due to their own demise. And this is coming from an alcoholic in recovery.

I was young. I think we saw reruns of partridge family. I remember these small magazines i had as a kid and the popular people were in the magazines including Cassidy. I dont know much of his life. Its sad hearing about his life.

This is incorrect, the young girl who died in London was not crushed, in fact she was nowhere near the front of the stage. She sat in a side section and had a heart condition. The excitement of the concert aggravated her condition and she died from that, not crushed at the London show.
