A week after I seen this 1st video of this child, I came upon a second longer one and could not watch it I knew it was about and it just breaks my heart to know this little boy felt so bad, Most of the time the ones feeling bad don't like their loved ones to know how they feel because they don't wanna upset you, I wish you prayers always in healing, And I will pray with you.
My heart broke and tears flowed. We are failing these beautiful babies! Mental health and the way we deal with bullying is deplorable! Change must come!
The bullies are the ones who need mental health counseling not the victims. The bullies need to spend some time in jail, and have psychological treatment before they are released back into society. This is the only Treatment plan that will put an end to bullying, make them pay.
Zero tolerance for bullying means that child would have been suspended from school. If it happens again the child is expelled from school. That's what they need to do to these bullies.
I was attacked verbally and physically violated in front of my colleagues. The counselors did absolutely nothing to do to stop it. I suffered in silence because of the household at the time that was just plain abusive. And I wanted people to let them know they’re not alone

My daughter (who is now 27) was bullied from elementary school up to high school because she has a stutter. I did go to the school quite a few times but nothing really got done and she would (when she was older) beg me not to go to school. There were many dark days when I was afraid she wouldn’t be able to take much more but she would always surprise me with her strength. She is now working on her bachelors degree and will after that go for her masters degree. I am so glad that I didn’t have to go through the pain that this poor Mom has to go through. I pray that this beautiful young boy’s family feels some kind of peace ❤️
All this situation proves is that this so called society has absolutely no regard for the lives of so-called black people and if we as a people believe that this science termed "psychology" is the solution to resolving this issue, we are grossly mistaken. It's just like the other persuasion to put a black face as a poster-girl/boy for their belief-system. The solution is us getting back to keeping the laws of our Creator, The Most High God!! I can’t believe the way it seems the majority raise their kids without teaching empathy, kindness and how to have character. It’s true, wayyyyy to many people don’t raise their children correctly.
Shannon, im a 57 year old gentleman who suffered the same bullying at school. I also stutter. Have stutteeed all my life. My speech is now 85% improved! Speech therapists didnt really help. One therapist had me speak VERY SLOW. I sounded like a damn robot! No way! I went to a hypnotist/therapist. He changed my way of thinking. I stopped worrying about what others thought of my speech impediment. That only makes things worse! The more you focus on your stutter, the more nervous you get. The more nervous you get, the more you'll stutter! Just STOP worrying about what others think! The less you think about it, the less nervous youll be. The less nervous, the less youll stutter! Try it, it does work! Im living proof!

She had a therapist that did the same thing and she felt like it made her sound weird so she definitely didn’t want to do the “slow,easy, speech” she gets really nervous in job interviews especially when they are in the phone. She doesn’t really care what people in her everyday life think it just annoys her that grown adults say things to her! But as she has gotten older she has gotten so much better. I will have to talk to her about the hypnotist! Thank you for that information! One thing I can say is that most people I have encountered that do stutter are the kindest people who DEFINITELY don’t deserve to be disrespected in ANY WAY! Also my daughter having this has given her so much compassion for people that have disabilities that they can’t help and she has always defended them! God bless you ☺️
Shannon here's a trick to ace that interview. Picture the man, or woman, whos interviewing you naked! They say that works at times! Just have confidence in your abilities. That ALWAYS worked for me. Just walk in, and feel a little cocky. When i was unemployed, and going to interviews, by the end of the interview, I'd give the interviewer my famous speech. Poundind 2 fingers on tge desk, I'd say, " Mr. Smith, i realize you have others to interview for this position, but your search is over! Im your man! I have what your looking for! If i felt i didnt have what your looking for, i wouldnt be wasting your time, or mine! Im your man! If you decide to pass on me, youll be making the biggest mistake of your life! I'm what your looking for!" Too cocky? Hey its a dog eat dog world out there. When the the interview was over, I'd get up, shake his hand firmly and say, " Good bye. It was a pleasure Mr. Smith. And once again, dont pass up on me. I'm the man your looking for. You wont regret hiring me. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a good day." And with that i shook his hand, got up and walked out! 3 weeks later I got called in for a 2nd interview in front of 3 other higher ups! Thats pressure! But i kept cool and relaxed. Stuttered very little. I even mentioned my stammer while in the interview! They were impressed. Later on , i found out that i beat out 80 others for that one position.
This is just so wrong, why, why do people not teach their children to show respect and caring for each other? I honestly believe now, before my child suffers from being bullied, I will home school him, my child will not die because of an adults stupidity. Please teach your children kindness and respect for others, no matter how different.
I’ll removed my child from public school he’s complaint often from bullied since that days it was at peace he’s happy I’m feeling happy without having to deals with all the bullied from school. He’s homeschooling and the best choice for my child if I’ll need more extra time I’ll hired a private tutor one or 2 hours for my child it was the best decision and healing soul for my little boy 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💜💜💜at school no one seems to care when it comes to bullied so for your child sake as a parent I’ll take this matter into my own hand I’ll sign the PSA Form homeschooling online easy peacefully at mentally at rest !!🙏🏽💜🙏🏽💜🙏🏽🥰🥰

Bro, i have a son. He's 6. I couldn't imagine finding my son dead. I have a lot of fears for my boy, him being bullied is one of them. He's an emotional kid and he has trouble communicating. Kids can be cruel and schools can be completely useless. I was bullied myself growing up. I will never understand people who take enjoyment in harassing others. Kids or otherwise. Like how the hell don't you see what you're doing is wrong. I'd fight someone over my boy. I don't care. Schools need to do better and parents need to do better. It's like we're in a vicious cycle. The same thing keeps happening over and over again and nothing is changing. It needs to stop.
Wow! I can tell by the passion of your words that you're a great father. It sucks so bad that we can't raise our children with the same freedoms of white kids. Teachers should make more money because they need to pay more to learn how to observe these children in class. School bus drivers need classes on bus behavior to prevent bullying in route to education. Seven years old🙄There is no excuse that a seven year old any color should have suicidal thoughts. They need to have helpers on these school buses to help the drivers. As a mama of six children I know how hard it is to drive a mini van full of kids. I couldn't control anything going on behind me so how do we expect a bus driver to safely drive our children to and from school & at the same time make sure no one is being bullied or beaten up? I know they say they don't have the funding but I know they could take some money from (let's say building a big gym with the fanciest most expensive score board) (maybe do away with the grocery tax or lesson it and put that towards our schools) idk FIND THE DAMN MONEY to hire some help for teachers and bus drivers! I have a son with learning disabilities and a sever speech problem that was bullied. Called names. I now home school him because the last school he was in couldn't help him. He was hit in the classroom & of course NO ONE seen it. Then 3 little girls ganged up on him. Lied on him and we're believed over him every time! My son happens to be white. To be honest the only child that I know of that helped him ,that told other kids he was in speech class & he was trying, not to make fun of him was a black child named Eli. Eli lived next door. He is the one who told me how the other kids made fun of him & called him names. My own son didn't even tell me. I think it becomes normal when it happens daily ya know... I just remember fighting back tears and thanking Eli for being a good friend. And let me say I know how hard it is for a mama with a disabled child to deal with this terrible bullying epidemic... And I can not imagine how hard it was for this mama. Her son being bullied simply because he was black... My heart breaks for her and her family...
I work at a school as a nurse. Boy you couldn't pay me enough to be a teacher. People put too much on teachers. All they get paid to do is teach. Not raise someone else's kids. They can't even punish bullies. They have no authority. I think we had less suicides back in the day because teachers could spank kids. Now I hear they can't even give them extra school work for being bad.
He probably reported to his teacher and was dismissed. My son was being bullied in school recently, it was going on for couple weeks. He told his teacher but I never heard anything about it. And she was always so quick to tell me about his issues as he does struggle with ADHD. his twin brother told me, but before that I noticed he would get sick every time it was time for school. He would hide in the toilet, he had diarrhea, throwing up. I tried to find out what was wrong, but he wouldn’t tell me. I took him to the doctor, they just said maybe it’s him getting over a stomach bug.. for 4 weeks or more? Anyways his twin told me he was being bullied. And I sprang into action. I contacted the principal, his teacher and made a huge fuss. They had to address matters. Anyways thankfully that teacher “moved on to another position.” My baby is doing better” he is in therapy. And his new teacher seems cool. He’s more upbeat at school and doing great academically and emotionally. It scares me that if not for his brother, I wouldn’t know. Please keep the communication lines open with your kids and advocate for them. May God help us all and comfort to those who have lost loved ones to this unfortunate situation.

Omg I just watched this about a 10 year old who died by suicide from being bullied this little boy is even younger only 7 this shouldn't even be happening at this young. Heartbreaking! I was bullied too through kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. I tried to take my life when I was 17 years old. So much pain and sorrow then but as I look back on it, I know that it was only God Almighty that kept me through it all. I'm tired of people saying, There's nothing that can be done to the bullies" Yes it is and this needs to stop! Goliath was a bully and God used David to confront him. No child no matter what they're age should have to carry that burden to the point of taking their own life. May God rest his soul and prayers for his Mom &Dad, family and friends.

I grew up in a family with 4 kids. We had 33 guns in the house in a 6 foot safe with 2 key locks and those keys were on my father's key chain that never left his pocket unless he was sleeping. He never kept guns out, if he did I never seen one. (Trust me Christmas time I was always snooping) Wait didn't it say he died around Christmas? I'm on cell phone so not going to exit to read title again but I'm having a hard time figuring out how they knew it was a suicide. Where was he shot? Not to sound rude but just having a hard time with this one. If he was so religious, why hide it in a Bible? Why was the gun under the bed the day he shot himself? Why did she move the gun that day? So many questions left unanswered.
The parents should go after the school along with the bullies families if a child is bullying someone they should get kicked out the school they should not be allowed to bully someone else bullying should be banned
Exactly … this video was misleading because they made it seem like he killed himself but her gun was not locked and put somewhere safe. It was under her mattress and easily accessible by her child. So sad and tragic!
Best thing is to transfer to a new school if child is bullied. My husband was bullied and never got over certain feelings because of it . My lady friend sais that in middle school she started to get bullied and refused to go to school so she got transferred to another school and life was fine. Do not keep the kids in that environment. Parents may not think of this so just trying to help.
What an amazing woman and mother 💝 it's so stigmatized and not talked about because the first thing people do is try to get you committed or the hospital makes you go to a psych ward. It makes it incredibly scary for someone to come out and say listen I've been suicidal... You ALL are loved, cared for, thought about and needed in this world! 💜❤️💜
See I have never taught my child about the color of people's skin because they are human that's all she needs to know. She looks at everyone as her friend no matter what color the skin tone is. I have taught my child about bullying and never to do it and to stand up for the ones who are being bullied.
Mental health should be a required subject in schools from kindergarten and up. It is just as important as math, English, science, gym, etc... this has to change NOW. What a very powerful video I cried so hard this morning as I watched this video. I wasn't bless to be a mom am 51 years old now has I watch this video it pull on my heart. To this family's who lost there children my heart go out to you all. When I pray I will say a special prayer for you all. The 2 little boys was love, a blessed, handsome, and a gift from God. How do we know that it wasn't an accident and not because he was bullied at school? This is so sad but I'm not getting the correlation. Makes me feel like they are blaming the bullying instead of the truth which is the parents had a loaded gun not locked. How did no one hear the gunshot? He was already "hard as a rock". Why didn't they go to the school if they knew the bullying was so bad that he could be suicidal? So sad either way.

We are living in terrible times and I volunteer my time often for free, because I know what it's like to be without the education needed to get a job. I am $70,000 in debt in students loans. I was without a job for ten years even with an education. I was forced to live in the projects, and I am sexually harassed by the white janitor being a black woman. There's white janitor who broke most of the appliances in my apartment, so he could come in to make repairs that never last. The toilet in my apartment won't flush. I pay the market rate of $971, and now my rent is increasing to $994, in the projects. I am 59 years old, but I am not welling to give my talent away to other nations who would call me a nigger and say that I need to be control. What you call segregation I call unity, but "if other nations are trying to divide my race to keep us apart, I call that mental cruelty" . My problem is not with segregation because I have more important thing to do with the remainder of my years than to be political; so, I help the children in my own race to overcome adversities in their lives by helping them to become educated. I can cite other reasons, to say that my niece was to be imprisoned for 49 years, because her mixed children said she disciplined them too much, but I will just leave it at that point.

I'm with you, there's nothing adding up here. The kid waits until mom is asleep, gets the gun from under the bed, goes back to his own bed, shoots himself and mom doesn't hear gunfire but finds him cold & dead the next morning? Hmm.
I can believe it, we lost my nephew in a very similar fashion, He snuck in his parents room, and hung himself in their closet, while they were sleeping. That’s what my sister woke up to the next morning, it’s been beyond devastating.
Thank God there are people in this world that still use their brains! It’s still mind boggling to me that anyone would believe her story. 12 hours for cold to set in and 24hours for rigor morris to set in. So she wants us to believe that her baby was cold and hard🤔 so he was on the floor for 12hours?? Come on! People like her make me sick! A gunshot in a home would bring any person flying out of bed to find a warm body and fresh blood, not a stiff, cold body and dried blood. This is heartbreaking, my prayers are with the family. I was subjected to horrendous bullying from 1 person from 5th grade until 8th. I can understand how one feels to be bullied. I’m just really sorry things ended this way.

Not to seem harsh the gun should've be sucred with a lock on it. Parents have got to do better with communicating with their children. No child should have to fear of telling their parents or another adult if they're being bullied. The parents of the child doing the bullying need to be investigated held accountable for their children actions. The School system teachers have got to do a better job in providing a safe haven for all children. Possible they need training in how to recognize bullies.
This always hits home because my suicidal ideation began around this age. I did some really awful things to myself and NO ONE knew about them. Usually this was triggered by bullying and depression over the isolation resulting. PLEASE be engaged with your children, watch them, keep dangerous "impulsive" suicide items AWAY from them. The ideation and impulse is so strong....

How do these kids know how to commit suicide? Like, wat are they watching? I was bullied but never thought to kill myself. When I was growing up the white kids was suicidal. I never knew a black person (A child) to die by suicide. Now it's out of control.

Teach your kids to be strong and stand up for themselves. The bullies were afraid of my oldest daughter. She was very popular but everyone knew not to mess with her. Those mean girls would be like, "Hey girl! What's up." It all started when the biggest bully in school was bullying my youngest daughter. My oldest went up to that girl and in front of the whole school with one punch that poor creature went down on the concrete. What is amazing is that my girls reached out to her later in the school yr and they found out she was being SA by her father who went to prison. By high school, they were good friends. 🙏🙏
I am so very sorry. What a precious little boy gone entirely too soon. Sometimes I’m ashamed to be white. What can I do to help? Growing up in our house in Memphis, the N word was a cuss word!!! You did NOT say that word no matter what. Sadly , kids are taught hate. We need more Seven’s in the world. I’m very sorry! Prayers continued for you all.

No matter what age no one should be going through this nobody should be discriminated against and NO ONE NO ONE should drive someone so far to commit these poor kids don't deserve anything no one deserves to be bullied i cant imagine what the family is feeling to this day i feel sorry for the families who have to go through losing a child especially to this. Ummmm....looks like a loaded gun wasn't put away and he shot himself by accident. That's why the coroner labeled it that way. The parents are in denial talking about the coroner's findings are incorrect. This happens so often because children are innocent, curious and don't understand the true concept/finality of death most times. I'm sorry for their loss...but this story shouldn't be presented this way.
Always advocate for your children. Whatever you need to do as a parent to protect your child’s’ life. So many children push down feelings so they can move forward. All schools should have plans of action in place for children that are being bullied. Counseling should be mandatory for the bully and the child being bullied. I guarantee the child that is being bullied is being bullied at home. Educational institutions should not be failing any child.
I know what it feels like to be bullied. I was bullied terribly all throughout grade school for being fat and wearing thick glasses. It feels horrible, they make you feel worthless. Please speak up if you’re being bullied; suicide is not the answer. May this little kid rest in Heaven, and may his bullies be punished severely.

I'm so sorry about all your loses in this video. They need to come up with a website or a phone number that these young children can call and talk to or write to. Because they don't want to tell there family members. Not knowing how they will respond to it. They need someone outside of school and home to confide in. To hopefully prevent this from keep happening. It's just tears me up inside to see any child struggling with bullying.
