Dat was wild and aggressive but could not create his own shot; two or three trash under powered strikes that creates an opening for a "clean" heavy strike. Palomino clench work was extra slimy too and their were clean audible counters landed that could have won a 50/50 round.

this fight was in favor of the black guy. I could already hear from the commentators, the comments were more in favor for the black guy, more enthusiasm in their voices when talking about him. The asian guy for sure won. im guessing the judges were like the commentators, they had a favorite. People in the comments talking about the cuts are dumb, cuts don't mean sht, performance does.

Dat said in an interview that BKFC had him walking out 20 minutes backstage while Palomino was still warming up in the locker and they tried to upset Dat by preventing his son from walking out with him. They would allow Dat to have only one cornerman on the ring and he couldn’t put grease on his face while Palomino has his whole team and coaches on the ring slapping handful of grease on Palomino’s face so he wouldn’t get marked up 😮

If Dat puts on permanent, healthy weight to move up, his skill and boxing IQ would be enough to outclass Palomino. This dude is 27-16 in MMA for a reason and we could see why in this fight. Very few punches in Round 2 from either fighter that actually land and the only significant strike in Round 2 is a right straight from Palomino while he changes levels. The camera doesn't have a clean angle on it but the pace of the fight for the rest of that round changes since it hurt Nguyen. Pick any round and actually look at what's going on.
