The ml is totally a scumbug. In the entire movie he supported his so called mistress and at the end he is saying he doesn't love her he only pity her is this even make sense. Even if the boy was ml and fl's child but that was unknown everyone knows the child was ml and mistress' child it means he had physical relationship with her it means he is cheating. And saying he only pity does it even make sense. In reality he would be the one who should go to jail for cheating and playing with someone's emotions. I think in some extent the mistress was right except her crimes but the ml was the one who toying with her feelings . In conclusion he don't have a right to be called a hero 😡😡😡😡😡
Isn’t this the case in any C-drama (with a few exceptions)? The blaming of the females? Or the FL is blamed by the ML and his relations (abuse C-drama). Or the mistress is blamed by the ML and the FL and her relations. The females are always the victims (guilty or not), while the ML can change his stripes from tiger to zebra without losing admiration, status, power or credibility. No wonder the FL takes this scumbag back most of the times.
Mr Shen is brainless, bobo. First, the person who is close to her grandpa will not do anything harm to the grandpa and Yueyue who did not get the favor would do otherwise. That theory itself is enough to silently investigate the instigator. Secondly, the nanny who died, the one who does not wants to kept the crime perfect will kill the possible witness. It is so shameful for a CEO to have zero logic. Not a good plot.
Why!? After everything the ML has come to know of the SFL, why show even an ounce of sympathy towards her let alone shed a couple tears!? She hurt your children and here you are showing sympathy towards her, gently explaining feelings etc., it makes no sense. I hate when writers have ML’s still feeling some emotion towards the SFL character after everything comes out about them, the evil they’ve done; they deserve to be treated how they treated others. The SFL destroyed the FL life and she has the nerve to state things such as “why come back and destroy my family” when it wasn’t hers in the first place- she schemed, murdered, and played to get the FL “life”, to take and ruin her happiness and she has the nerve to act like it was all hers to begin with. FL should’ve just been done with the ML, he still could’ve been a father and her a mother without having to be together.
FL shouldn't have gone back to him because he mistreated her so badly, so much emotional abuse and cheating 😔 how could she ever forgive that. Also, ML his face has had too much surgery or pdo threads 😳 you can see it near the jowls
Chinese actor Jin Jia Yu needs a very experienced manager. ..with his looks and acting abilities, he can do way better....And do Asian men truly got it in their genes they are obligated to care for their ex-girlfriends, or betrotheds, or their best friends' sisters, or their grandparents' BFFs granddaughters, or childhood sweethearts other than their actual girlfriends or wives they claim they love?!!! I don't get it, and I'm Asian!!!

I’m afraid that Asian men have the same entitlement complex than other men around the globe that live in a patriarchal society. As long as the men don’t see women as respected human individuals, instead of bodies that can be interchanged on body types and weights, that isn’t going to change much. They have a wife because society demands it of them, just like the wives have a husband because it seems the only way to be respectable in the eyes of society. And a financially stable man has the preference. On the other hand there is such a strong sense of family and being respectful to elders, business partners, authority and members of the family and families in the same circles. If you call everyone grandma & grandpa, uncle, aunt, brother, sister and cousins - by blood or not - and marriage is so important within the family, that everybody & the board of directors plus the family cat, gets involved it must be pretty confusing to prioritise the relationship with a soft spoken timid Cinderella wife. And the ones that are the least deserving usually scream the loudest for attention.
Please don't insult Italian Mafia by comparing them to these. Italian Godfathers are smart. All the male leads are portrayed as dumbass in these movies. The only smart ones here are the mistresses.😢
Is it just me? Or is the dubbing really over-dramatic? I'd have preferred subtitles with the original sound, to be honest. Interesting drama, though. Knew it would be a decent watch with Jin Jiayu as the ML. Hats off to the child actors too!
It's not too bad!But I prefer a strong ML lead though I like some of his movies. Hope to see more of his side leaning towards his wife not the mistress. 😊😊😊

The way this was dubbed. I watched it in 35 minutes at a certain point double X speed was not working so I just started scrolling. I’m positive the story is amazing. The acting looks immaculate, but the dub 😭
The only thing the ML needs to remember, is that he is brainless, and I agree. The brainless ML's in all these series can get an audience frustrated watching how easily they are manipulated, its always far fetched.
She's supposed to be a cardiac surgeon and she lets herself get beaten up by her father and her ex husband ? How about restraining orders and excluding herself from doing the surgery ? Who cares about his evil mistress....she owes him nothing after how he has treated her....this drama is not good....especially the ending when she seems to have the memory of a fish and has apparently forgotten how badly he treated her for seven whole years and fawned over his mistress in that time ! and then goes back ...SMH...
A wise person and a rich one could hire an investigator on both sides. Or chinese blue print is as low as i feel it. More on greed. The good guy is pinned down too hard... So sad. There is no balance in the equation.
This ml is a pure jerk he never loved the fl only his mistress he wanted to marry he tried to kill the fl multiple times to make the mistress happy. He even wanted to kill his own children to make the mistress happy then years later he wants to kidnap the girl to take it to the home to be abuse like his own son by the mistress. The ml knew all the evil deeds the mistress even try to kill the grandpa but he rather blame the fl soo he has an excuse to send her to jail like he did or try to kill her. All the time after she disappeared he keep looking for her around the World so he could try to kill her again while he was in a loving relationship with the mistress living in the same home raising a child but his hatred for the fl was soo big he couldn’t be happy till she was dead that’s why he look for her all around the world. He rather try to kill his own child with the fl soo his only child was the one with the mistress even years later he still wanted to hurt the child with the fl. The ml & mistress been in a relationship for 13 years same time as with the fl soo he always cheated on the fl plus ml was happy the mistress was pregnant but not the fl that why he try to kill her & the baby. This man rather let his own children be abused & grandpa almost die all to make his mistress he loves happy. He was even ok with sending the fl to be grape all to make his mistress happy this ml pure evil and even kidnapping his own daughter to make the fl agree to be abused. At end classic the fl was dumb to end together with the ml after knowing he don’t love her plus he cheated during their whole marriage, tried to kill her & their own children plus dint even punish the mistress for all evil she did cuz he loves her.
And the female lead couldn't get the sense to record the female antagonist whenever she appeared in front of her? And the female lead too couldn't report the bruises he saw on the boy's body to the father after her examination? Could it be that you have the funds so anything that comes to mind,you just record it as a drama? And why are all the Chinese dramas with the same story trend? Can't any of you be original for once?
Seriously!!! The translations are getting worse instead of better. Not even checking the script before having the voice actors do it is just poor management, it discredits the channel and disgraces the original actors and creators. I would also suggest adding the real title and where to find it or watch it in the description so we can watch the original version with the real actor's voices and subtitles, this way we can hear the true tone and inflection that was dubbed over with poorly done voice acting.

The entire plot is weird! I'm impressed that there's no laws there in that country! There's no morality in that society! There's no feelings between human beings there! Thanks God I'm not its country citizen. I'll work so hard to make sure my fates this life or any after'life ever be closed to that country & its horrible people. 🙏🙏🙏
