I mean.... He's not upset at all his mom had a hand in her dad's death. He's just happy he didn't get cheated on. Add to that, she begged him not to call her by the name her father gave her AND HE KEEPS DOING IT. screw that dude. The disgustingly selfish yet subtle red flags shouldn't be ignored.
The story is complicated; she will also discover later the hidden, sarcastic, and malicious reasons of her present husband for her previous marriage to fail and to be able to repent for having killed his wife's father in the car accident. The reason for which she subsequently divorced but disappeared for several years abroad was that she continued to appreciate her two ex-husbands. The film is coming to an end. She will remain good friends with both guys.
The mama's boy just listened to his horrible parents. He knew her for a long time and didn't believe her. He ruined what their life could of been together. His mother committed manslaughter and his father ruined her university life.
FINALLY a Asian drama with a strong female lead that does not give in to the the butthole male !! Most Asian dramas are so predictable they are not worth watching and while this one somewhat follows the standards ( mommas boy, evil momma, pregnant, etc) it was worth it to see her tell him to take a hike !!
The A-hole of a disbelieving husband, tortures this poor woman, saying all sorts of hateful, you-can't-take-back words, based only on supposition and now he says he sorry AFTER he finds out the truth? Even in his apology he blames her...'what YOU said made me do it...". Blaming her for his 'lack' is a main theme in these dramas, especially where weak, arrogant cowardly characters play the leading roles! The actor is ok, but his character is a toad...with warts and she'd be a fool, no, a really bad example, of fantasy thinking on her part!

Haven’t watched this series yet. But his remorse really does not feel genuine. He seems to be driven more because he has a child. Would he have reacted that way if he had found out the truth but didn't have a child? It seems more like he wants the child with him and the mom is a happy bonus rather than reconciling with mom and the bonus being that he gets his child. I doubt he would have tried talk to her to get her back if there hadn't been a child. Apologise, yeah but not talk her back into his life. So irresponsible! 😤
It’s been awhile since I watched this, seen many series since however if I remember correctly she ended up losing the baby; I honestly don’t know what he was thinking, there was time in between the breakup and loss(I might be off about the time but still) and during that time he “hated” her, was a complete ass towards her so for the truth to be out and him thinking they could just start over, she should easily forgive is whack and typical.
His father is spineless, letting his wife get away with her viciousness and manipulation years ago. The mother is despicable and slimy. The son is a product of both of them: weak, accusatory, cowardly, gullible, easily manipulated and controlled while being told and believing he's an amazing catch. No. He's not. His apology is all about him: I lost my job, I was nervous, I lost my mind, I didn't think, I hated myself - blah, blah, blah. Not one word about how he regrets accusing her, hurting her, shaming her, ridiculing her, believing the worst of her, doubting her love for him, etc. He truly expects her to leave her husband and return to him and his viperous parents for the rest of her life? How about an apology about the loss of her father for which he was responsible? He has the audacity to ask her if she loves her husband? What planet is he living on where he thinks that question of her is okay when this whole mess began because *he* didn't love *her* enough to trust her and their long history together? He's way out of line here. She's not a yo-yo to be passed back/forth between men every time they decide they want her or don't want her. Also, can you imagine that grandmother getting her hands on that child if she moved back in with him/them? This young mother would be separated from that baby the moment she returned to that evil, toxic household and the grandmother would ruin the child as she ruined her own with her lies and deceit and selfish arrogance. Even their son wouldn't be allowed to raise his own child because grandma would still be the overbearing, intrusive, interfering, obnoxious person she is and the grandfather would remain a milk toast and just go along with whatever the grandmother said and did. She lives to impress strangers, and the son lives to keep his mother happy even to the point he refuses to think on his own or reason with his own brain. The only reason he wants the mother of his child to return to his family is to keep his mother happy. After the wretchedly ugly, horrid things he said to her, the way he treated her and the way he made her feel without one questioning the validity of the nonsense he was being fed by a liar with a hidden agenda, he has never once considered, since learning the truth, that no apology can ever make up for his lack in that time. His apology is as lame and limp as his own father's spine. For once in all these dramas, this young woman found her self worth, knows her own value, and used her newfound dignity, resolve and integrity to leave him behind in the dirt and dust where he belongs with his mother, father and the rest of the vermin. The chance still exists the grandmother and all her wealth won't stay out of this young woman's life but make a huge dramatic play in the courts for access to the child, all under the guise of her son being duped, just to get her hands on that baby. Knowing also the type of man she's currently married to (spoiler: you'll eventually learn he's no prize either) this gal needs to grab that child, get on a plane, and disappear to live her life and raise her child without either one of them. She needs to remember that a snake only sheds its skin to become a larger snake and both her current husband, her ex and her ex's parents are all snakes.
In ML's apology, he excuses himself of any real 'personal accountability.' He apparently feels that given what he was told (& not told), what he saw, etc., exhonorates him of any subsequent words and reactions in this matter; he does not own that, knowing her & who she is at her 'core' for years, it was wrong on his part not to trust or believe her or listen to her. Love and faith should go hand-in-hand, but he doesn't 'get' that, even now.
When a men acts like he did he is not worthy he is a men who has no responsibility and listen to others … better be alone with the child then have such a mama boy
Problem is more that all that time spending with his wife and he didn't know her character? He should have known that she didn't cheat on him, regardless what he saw, or heard. Also, they shouldn't been together anyway, because she couldn't care less if her actions was making him be crazy jealous. She didn't really love him, because her love turned into hate. She never forgave his family. Probably because too she carried all that hurt and pain from his mom slandering her. She should have just made it known that it was his baby through proof.

He was in stress and pain; he had become violent towards the guy, and he asked his wife to go home together several times. The fact is that she pushed her husband away, and she chose to stay with the guy. At this moment, he said, " If it's like that, if you care about him and like him more than me, it's over between us; he gave her back the keys to the house, and in rage, anger, and distress, he left. She married the dud her ex hated the most. Her behavior was abnormally stupid.
So her father went to ask for a stupid explanation as a meddling parent 😮 and got hit by a car 🚘 and died. 🤔 So her mom made her let go of her baby’s father 🤢 and marry the guy who killed her father 🤮 ohhh 😮 that makes a lot of sense 😡 she and mother actually deserve all the pain that’s coming 🥵🤬
hmm, you must have some issues with parents. Spoilers; Her father has every right to ask for explanation for his daughter who I believe could not at the time, from the college/school who disqualified her without explanation or reason. They did so to allow the 'rich' 'baby's father ' to change classes and simply because his mother wanted the boy to go to that school. One earned her place, was supposed to get in and still would have been able to but her father died, it was too late thus changing her life forever. No one made her let go of the 'father', she eventually found out what happened and could not be with him knowing he/they caused (indirectly) her father's death for their own selfish needs. (and still treated her like garbage, knowing what they did) Also she does not know about the other guy caused the fathers death yet at this point. (you must have watched clips out of order) To say someone deserves all the pain coming to them and blaming the wrong set of parents indicates you know nothing about the drama or you have a skewed perspective on caring parents. Her father was not meddling he was trying to save his daughters future when she was unaware and was unable to act herself.

@@Campanita1313 By this point he does know what the parents did they just told him in the scene before this but he chooses to blatantly ignore it for his own selfishness. He thinks that what she thinks and feels about his family and his subsequent actions is not related to him and dismissed them. Just like you do. Feeling and emotions are not easily compartmentalized, if she stayed in that relationship every time she sees or hears him she would think about what happened, thus souring the relationship further until they devolve into intense hatred - Also in this scene she does not know about her "husband's" involvement, her actions are in justifiable ignorance - Killer and accident are two different things however negligent there was no intention to kill the father - The Father of the child was not entirely without fault either due to his actions when he was ignorant of the facts. He is not without an issue personally in the relationship either. You keep absolving/ lightly brushing off him and his side of the relationship (parents) and aiming daggers at her (The victim and obvious stressed) and her parents. You must have sons, or a bad relationship with daughter or daughter in-laws and her parents, bit of projecting going on ***Spoilers**** -If we are talking about future events then your argument does not work as because of the stress of the actions of his parents, she loses the child in miscarriage - In actuality her mother was even more blood thirsty in this matter and supported her in abandoning that relationship for the new one. (They were never married before) ****** -You keep saying meddling parents but the only meddlers up until this point was his parents, sure her mom was not great towards the end. But she was the only meddler and not much of one up to this scene and definitely not her father. - You say you do not like meddlers but you are aiming at her trying to meddle in her decisions that are based in pain, trauma, and stress. Her decisions are valid responses to the insanity of what is happening. When you consider her decisions "when she makes them" they are valid and accusing her because of them and saying she should do what you think. If she was your child, it would be meddling, the opposite would be to allow them to make their mistakes and support them in the good and bad, which parents exemplifies this.
