You proved my point whilst trying to say I was wrong. Instagram ads don't make anywhere near as much as RU-vid ads because of engagement. 10k is not an unreasonable amount for a 10+ minute video from someone with nearly 250k subs, especially when you take into consideration the viewer engagements. Sponsors look at comment count, viewer/subscriber ratios, and likes/dislikes to decide the worth of their ads.

So long as the effort stays top notch (like this video clearly was) and the sponsor isn't anything shady, take a sponsorship as often as you'd like. We get free content, the sponsor gets a personal advertisement, and you get to cover your costs. If you think the product is a good product, that's an even better reason to do it.
If you're taking a sponsor that's fine, but if it's some shit microtransaction based mobile dumpster fire then I'd rather not see it. Take sponsors from things that you have a passion for or that are quality and not just looking for a young audience equipped with their mums credit card.

Hey Framed i hope you get to see this, i recently came back to RS mainly a Newscape player but do have a skiller on OSRS, it's cause of you and a few other youtuber's that i came back, well mobile was big for drawing me back in; but back in my hay-day of gaming a few years ago I was a competitive CSGO player and OW and a lot of youtuber's then had same contemplations as you do now about sponsorships, I think you should take the sponsorships YOU want, you provide us content to watch and yes you do get paid through twitch and youtube and what ever else you may do but I think you should maximize your profits now while you still can, some people will call you a sellout and shit but its not selling out unless you change your content dramatically for you sponsor. Although you may argue but i make enough as it is right now sure maybe, but what if you could add another 1-5k a month to your salary, that would at the end of the day help your mental state (I'm not criticizing your mental state by any means). What i mean by it is with the extra income you may be able to than hire professional graphics people. or video editors, or anything really which could relieve stress off you and also help maybe push you to do a bit more. Im gonna start tuning into your streams I don't know if you play other games on stream but if you do than you could have more time to do that. Hope that makes sense not trying to write you an essay here so ill conclude it at that, but i really think you should back burner the idea of sponsorships as a criticized thing because those same people that complain will most likely never get the chance to have a sponsor nor will they understand what it takes to be a youtuber/streamer. I hope you get to see this I may c/p it cause I do hope you get to read this at some point.
Do the sponsored video and get that money. I respect you for considering your fan-base for it, but objectively I feel like you don't even have to ask because it's your product and your time/money. The viewers will stay, imo.

If someone can't sit through 30 seconds of content that is supporting you wholeheartedly, then you don't need them watching your videos. Have a sponsor on every single video, you are the one that has made the accomplishment of creating an amazing channel with high traffic. I honestly think it is ridiculous you even had to mention this in the video, and I understand it is probably from previous times where kids were toxic in the comments because you had a sponsor, but anyone over 13 yrs old understand what a sponsorship does for a channel and can easily click 30 seconds ahead in the video if they don't want to watch it.

Part of success in this business is sponsorships. The problem is if the sponsor's product negatively impacts the game (ehem afriend) or if your content takes a hit. But until then, don't worry about it. Besides, you got a wedding to plan my dude and that takes moneh.

You've always been pretty good choosing ethical and not sketchy sponsors (private servers for example) so I completely trust your judgement and say go for it framed.
At the end of the day, its an additional like 15-30 seconds which we can easily skip through if we cba watching it. You should take the sponsor Framed, you deserve it :)

Honestly take a sponsor and keep doing it, as long as you're not doing 1 minute sponsors every video I'll be okay with it. I enjoy watching your content and 15 -25 seconds is not going to stop me from watching every video you put out as I do now :)

Ain't nothing wrong with taking a sponsor, just try to make it so it adds to the experience of the video, rather than subtracting from it, and it's just a win-win. Always do a little bit of extended research about the optics of the sponsor, but keep in mind, censorship junkies and outrage addicts are far from our realm of Gielinor, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue
Won't hate you for taking mobile sponsor. Would prefer if you've played the game and verified that it's actually playable without spending hundreds of dollars, but one little add won't hurt anyone.
Thanks for asking us if we're cool with you taking a sponsor, but I'll always say yes. Listening to a 30 second plug for a mobile game is a small price to pay for otherwise free content.
