Sadly it’s likely what she tells them to say. I shouldn’t say that, she could be truly sick. Either way, those boys should never have to live that way. I hope the money didn’t just go to drugs for mom or get stolen or something. I hope it made some kind of difference in their lives… even just experiencing that level of kindness without expecting anything in return, it’s important that kids see that kind of love growing up. It's far from perfect in the US but at the same time children go through far far far far more horrible and traumatizing events outside the US.
Last year my neighbors son constantly complained about making his bed. And even refuse to do so. He was 14. His mom canceled his upcoming baseball game one weekend and had him sit down and watch a documentary about how these children live on a daily basis. Then we spent the rest of the weekend writing an essay "why I'm grateful for my home and my family".
Damm this broke my heart to see those sweet, innocent kids begging for money...I broke down in tears when you told them "I love you guys" ..god bless you sir, you will be greatly rewarded for your kindness

I tell children everyday I love them and I don't know them just started to work with them when I feel they hurting I talk to them, hug them and try my best to keep a smile on they face until I get off work so I don't see anything wrong with telling people you love them I do it especially I feel you have an beautiful soul

But, the fact remains that the children are still in that same environment and will continue to be literally breaks my heart. They’re so pure with a child’s innocence. @@Realfrenchie Mr Phakathi makes and uploads his own videos. Please try not to judge what you see here as you do not know the background story of these poor children and their mother. They said their mother was sick, they were probably telling the truth. There is a great deal of poverty in my country that Mr Phakhati goes out of his way to address. He is well known and a good man. Plus he makes a point of not showing his face in his videos, only his voice is heard.
I’ll never forget seeing a small child maybe 2 1/2 three years old and Nairobi Kenya standing in the middle of a busy sidewalk just crying. I’ve course immediately went up to her and we’re going to ask for her mother once and a gentleman came up to me and said her mother isn’t far she’s actually begging and looking for money. I was 18 years old and was given life lessons that no college could teach. Not only were the people extremely kind but truly grateful for all the little things

Let me share what I saw and learned on the two occasions I spent substantial time in Bangladesh. The first thing that struck me, besides the abject poverty, was the amount of children begging on the streets, amongst cars in the heavy traffic, everywhere. I became involved with a group that helped supple meals for the children in the schools. (The schools are another story!). At that time I met a priest that had been in Bangladesh for years and who created programs to bring the children in from the streets. He explained to me how the "STREET CHILDREN" of Bangladesh came about. Due to the abject poverty parents cannot raise nor feed their children. So the Iman or religious leaders, approach the parents promising them that they will care for the children and provide them with a home, clothe them, feed them and educate them. Relieved at the prospect of a better life for their children, the parents give the children to the Iman in exchange for a little money. And here is where the true tragedy begins. Instead of doing what they promised to the parents, the Iman turned the children to the streets to beg. There they are left to their own devices while they, barefoot, in rags and hungry bed all day long. At the end of the day all the money collected is turned to the Iman who might feed them a meager meal, the only one of the day. Afterwards, huddled together, the children sleep on the streets. Disobeying the Iman or trying to keep some of the money will result in a brutal beating. Regularly, whether they have been disobedient or not, the children are beaten in order to better control them with fear! As you can imagine these children become homesick, long for a family, are lonely and, in that loneliness, they turn to each other for comfort and create small families of their own. As a sign of their finial commitment the children cut themselves and then rub their wounds together to "exchange blood" thus becoming blood relatives! The priest had the children show me the marks left by the ritual of becoming a family. Their little bodies, everywhere, are covered with the scars left behind after cutting themselves. There can be 100 scars or more which is horrifying in itself. The greatest horror, however, is that through the exchange of blood, the children contract AIDS! Amidst this terrible tragedy the priest with whom I spoke, has made it his mission to bring these children in from the streets providing them with all the things the treacherous Iman had promised the parents! In addition, they receive as much medical help as possible. At last these Little Ones have a family, a sense of belonging and of being loved for whatever length of life they have left! Lacy and, in spite of all the suffering and betrayal, they smile and are very affectionate! A big piece of my heart stayed behind with them! Take good care. Many blessings.

And it sounds like you’re a humanitarian like myself who is given affection and compassion to others in the world to have seen horrors that we can’t imagine. One and three people is HIV positive in Kenya. When I was there in 2005 they did not recognize HIV as a disease and I believe it is still the same way now. And they had myths about how to rid yourself of HIV which were horrendous and absurd. One of which was sleeping with a virgin but a very young virgin. At a hospital doctors told us an eight month old baby was raped by a group of men in order to rid them of the disease, which of course is not the case they just damaged this girl permanently forever and passed the disease onto her. She was left to die but thankfully someone found her and she was giving medical attention. I met wonderful people who not only would give me their shirt off their back or their last meal but we’re always smiling and happy. I learned what it meant to be happy with a very little, I met some of the kindest people. I truly love that country and the people. I was also able to spend time in the Philippines where I learned the reason why so many children living in the streets had deformities, not because they were born like that because one child in the family is often sacrificed so they can beg in the street and be pitied upon because of their appearance. It was really hard for me to understand looking at a person who’s body had been twisted and broken in ways that shouldn’t, and the saddest part was it was done by their parents because of poverty. I will never forget the lessons I learned and the people I met because all around they’re good people who are in a horrible situation that they cannot just come out of. The human race needs to come together and drop their borders. We must act with humanitarian hearts and extend ourselves to those who are just barely surviving. How can one thrive in life if they’re constantly just surviving. When I can go back and continue doing the humanitarian work that I’ve done in the past I will. I used my carpentry skills to build chicken coop, goat shed, a dairy farm as well as extending the orphanage for more children. We dug a well out and sealed it so they would have clean water. I was with a group called world youth international that is a non-religious volunteer group that is also spent time in other countries around the world like Nepal. It’s an Australian based group and I was the first American. from one person to another thank you for your compassion and your kindness 🕊☮️❤️ blessings upon blessings
Mommy probably didn’t need help. Those kids are usually orphans and sent out by a group of guys who take the cash and give them a spot to sleep and send them back out the next day with a different story
