He Goes Off on Ray Comfort 

I was just like the young man smoking a cigarette. I would leave some bar as the sun was coming up and a street preacher would be out proclaiming the Gospel and handing out tracts. I would literally RUN as fast as my intoxicated body would let me! Hearing the Gospel put a spotlight on my sin and I HATED IT. I ran until I was 40 years old, until I finally realized that I "wasn't too sinful to be saved" after all. I thought I was beyond saving, and beyond grace, for decades. I thought God would NEVER forgive me for the things I had done. I finally submitted to Christ, confessed my sin and God completely changed me! He changed me from the inside out, making me a new creation! That was Oct. 9, 2011. Nearly a decade ago. Praise God for His patience and His loving kindness!

We don't like words like "fornicate" because they help illuminate how ugly our sin is.

My grandpa is 78 years old and my whole family has been trying to present the gospel to him. I spoke to him 1 on 1 about salvation for the first time ever and used the way Ray does. He was getting real nervous and wasn’t saying much ( he normally doesn’t talk much anyways) but I’m scared for his eternal life. Please pray for my grandpa. Thank you!!

Jesus is more than just a "good man." He's perfect! He's the Messiah! He's God's only-begotten son! Put your faith and trust in Him!

Defensiveness is a mistake. Taking responsibility for our sin is literally step one. God loves you so much he already gave his only son for you. The least we can do is admit our sin.

God's plan for enlarging His kingdom is so simple - one person telling another about the Savior. Yet we're busy and full of excuses. Just remember, someone's eternal destiny is at stake. (Jesus’s love for the backslider) Question: “If your 16 year old daughter ran away from home, and you were afraid and didn’t know where she was, and a few days later you found her to be safe and sound, would you not be extremely happy to see her again, and also see that she is okay? This is the same exact type of excitement that The Lord Jesus Christ feels when a Christian falls off of the right path but then chooses to return to Him! Whenever a believer strays away from the Lord or his teachings, Jesus Christ worries about them like a father who worries about His child who ran away from home! when that child comes home, Jesus Christ doesn’t yell at them or punish them. He is simply happy to see them; He gives them a big Hug! He welcomes them in, ask them if they are hungry, ask them if they are okay. And when they return to him, He forgives them for whatever they’ve done while they were away. Jesus is like a concerned father! So lately, if you’ve fallen off as a Christian, don’t give up. Because when you come back to Jesus, He isn’t going to punish you, but he will welcome you home like this child who has run away! So don’t be afraid to come home! His arms are open wide! (Luke 15:4)- “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? (Luke 15:5)- “and when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders.” (Luke 15:6)- “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ (Luke 15:7)- “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who never strayed away.”

I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will reach these men.🙏

I was Baptized last week!!! I tried handing out a track, to the attendant, at a gas station I always get a discount of 3¢ off per gallon, Loyalty Card. She thought the Red & Blue curve track was cute. She chose Blue as bigger. It had the Gospel on the back. I paid for the gas and went to fill up when I noticed I wasn’t getting the discount, I went in to ask for it and she said I didn’t have enough points.... I know that isn’t how it works. Friend, God doesn’t have to cater to the level of evidence you find acceptable. He has given more than enough evidence for anyone to believe, and has given you a rational mind to discern this evidence. What we find over and over is that it is often a heart issue with people. Accepting the truth of God’s existence means facing accountability for the way one lives. And all have sinned.

One of my favorite Bible verses is I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I have depression and anxiety and feel Suicidal at times and I'll start praying and God stops me. For some reason I get visions of fighting. I used to be a wrestling fan and a thought that appeared in my mind was we're not wrestling with flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I knew that was God speaking to me. It blows my mind that Jesus Christ uses our circumstances to teach us his word. Thank you Jesus Christ for loving me and taking my punishment that I deserve. I'm glad you're in my heart. Please Jesus keep me on fire for you.

Getting irritated and prideful is not going to stop the gospel being preached. I pray that these two young men will understand how sinful and prideful they are, repent of their sins, and truly surrender to Jesus Christ before it's too late 🙏 ❤️ 😢

Only God can save these people, These people are lost in sin but Jesus is the waymaker He's the Savior He can save anyone from sin. I pray God will touch their hearts and they'll come to Jesus and become born again by His Holy Spirit. They need God badly, Heaven and hell are real and our souls are eternal, souls will end up only in two places Heaven and hell depending on the choices. Only God is the way to be saved from hell and from sin. Sin is death and it leads to hell.

Ray is the prime example of double-talk. He says in the same run that it's by grace and mercy we are saved through faith and then goes on the next sentence to say we are saved by our works of trying to keep the law (STOP SINNING).

I just realized my problem now with Ray Comfort. I could never really land on his approach to people in evangelism. He says that God's standard for living is PERFECTION. I thought Jesus Christ came because we could not fulfill God's law and be perfect on our own so we NEEDED Jesus to come and die on our behalf BECAUSE we miss the mark of PERFECTION. God's standard is PERFECTION and JESUS is that perfection. NOT US. Rather than tell these people the GOOD NEWS he puts people right back under the CONDEMNATION of the law which God's grace saved us from. THE PENALTY of GOD"S LAW is finished in Christ for us. JESUS DID PAY OUR FINE, MR. COMFORT. Don't tell people that after people accept His free gift of salvation that they are held to the same standard of Jesus perfection. That negates the NEED for a Savior altogether.

You know, many of us say “God knows my heart” as a justification for our sinful lifestyles but that’s actually really scary. It’s scary that God knows how evil our hearts truly are. The Bible says that it’s out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks and these words are so true. In a video Ray said something like if we really wanna see a miracle to truly let God into our hearts and to see the changes He makes. When I tell you I can look back and see exactly when I was truly saved?? It breaks my heart to see how I THOUGHT I was good enough but was living in darkness. Anyways, I pray that man will let God into his heart and that He will change him like He did for me!

We sinned, therefore we deserve God’s wrath. But Jesus took all of our sins upon Himself Therefore, Jesus received 100% of God’s wrath upon Himself. Jesus was crushed by The Father’s wrath. Jesus satisfied The Father’s wrath that us sinners deserve. Jesus was buried, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. Acts 16:31. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved”.

It’s hard to listen to someone laying your sins opened before you. Truth hurts and we seem to have every excuse in the world to defend ourselves. We want to think we are right when we are 100% wrong
